He doesn't have power or I should say he doesn't have exceptional power.
do u know boxing because he has power...did it ever occur to you the guy he was fighting might just have a good chin
shitty stoppage to be honest.
few points he didnt look gas out to me and also it was a good stoppage and i though he did what your suppose to do and thats break your opponent down llevuano had never been stopped until tonite
NSB never fails to overrate..write off..and discredit after a couple fights where fighters either lose or face adversity..that's why this site SUCKS but the comedy of most of the people who do this is addicting!!..
Kellerman said it best.."Lopez didn't look as impressive as Gamboa..but comparing opponents..Lopez had the better win"..
Gamboa was just an overrated hypejob 3 fights ago when he was getting tagged and dropped by no named ass journeymen and bums..now he's the second coming of RJJr??!..
Now I'm not sayin Gamboa doesn't have the talent or potential..I just find it amazing how people jump ship so quickly and either hop on or right the fuck off the bandwagon after only a couple performances..
It's a shame to consider half of you boxing fans..those who look at Lopez' KO ratio feel that he should KO every opponent in the 1st with a jab!..he's got heart and skill to go along with that power..so because he doesn't KO them early doesn't mean his best years are gone..most of you go off the notion that "styles make fights" most of you swear by it even..but when it comes down to it..you wanna claim one is overrated or the next Ali depending on what bandwagon you guys feel like hopping on..I knew this was coming after I saw Mtagwa-Gamboa where I was very impressed..but remember who Mtawga is before claiming he's already an ATG..he's a journeyman..period!..fuck it..I'm
Well said,Great post
Gamboa looked great against a fighter who moved up a division but didn't move up in weight.
For a fighter like Mtagwa being the stronger bigger is everything.
He forfeited his only advantage when he moved up in weight and didn't gain weight.(Might have taken the punches a little better)
As soon as I saw the Weigh-in I knew this would be a short night.
Wow.. One of the All Time Shittiest posts I have ever read. I should sig this.

Luevano fought too flat-footed as Lennox pointed out and he didn't fight like he wanted to hold on to the title much longer.
Many don't give Lopez a chance against Gamboa.
Thats because his only chance is a lucky punch. Hes too slow to hit Gamboa with anything good, and neither his chin nor his defense are good enough to protect him from Gamboa's counter-punching, and leading.
I would say that the Juanma of tonight against the Gamboa of tonight would have got rocked, rocked, and rocked again. Juanma looked positively slow in there compared to Gamboa.

shitty stoppage to be honest.
The stoppage was right on time he had some difficulty getting up and when he got up he wasnt all there, that been said I see a pattern in Juanma because to me it looked like he was trying to hurt Luevano with every shot and he was starting to run out of gas. Juanma is a good fighter but it looks like he has stamina issues,Good win for him
While I think we got robbed of a brutal ko, it was an ok stoppage Luevano was done.
Juanma looked ok, I alway thought he was a good fighter but never thought he was great. Hé looks slow, he telegraphs his punches and has a leaky defense. Gamboa would pick him apart. Don't hold your breath on this fight happening any time soon. Arum is a smart man and he's going to milk Juanma for all his got before he feeds him to the lions.
he looks out of stamina, and he has lost his speed.
he needs to go back to 122lbs.
I called it after the Mtagwa fight, Mtagwa ruined him. He had slow reflexes, was easy to hit, and had poor balance tonight, and he will for every fight for the rest of his career.
JuanMa has no power. I don't know if he has enough to hurt Gamboa. He was getting touched a great deal by Luevno, too much in my opinion. I do think he has a shot at beating Gamboa though, because of his defense.
