For the answers I went on to another forum and I played the role of a die hard Gamboa fan to get real responses. Here are a few.If you want the link Pm me and I will send it 2 you my dudez
1)Sinister "Not everyone actually thinks Rogers lost that Fight to Jaunma, because he came on so strong in the second half and should have had a 10-8 round at the end. And that knockdown call was bullSh**
This seems more like a chance for Rogers to prove himself relevant. One look at Gamboa's habits in the ring, and this has disaster written all over it.
2)Sinister "why on Earth would you think Yuri would knock Rogers out? Juanma buzzed Rogers at-best and that was with CLEAN power punches. To win this Fight Yuri is going to have to spend most of his time moving his feet, he won't be able to stand in front of Rogers and crack him up. And when Yuri has to move and punch, it's proven to take considerable power off his shots, hence why he had such a hard time getting Rojas and Speedy out of there, and Rogers is tougher than both those guys.
Also, why did Rogers land his right hand? Because he's better at throwing it than people think. He does have a sense of timing, similar to Maidana. He can also crank it up and throw it repeatedly, forcefully, and without fear or reservation. That's tough to handle.
If Yuri wins this, it will be via ugly decision. If he stands and bangs with Rogers, his speed may prove useful, but his vulnerability to right-hands is something to lose sleep over"
3) Chrisdude "Gamboa should Blow Mtgawa out of the water
but hey thats what everyone said about JuanMa"
4) "MCduck" Meh. JuanMa was consistently hit by the right hand because he's honestly not as good a lot of people thought initially. He has proved he could be hit by right hands often in the past. So Mtgawa hitting JuanMa with right hands is not a big surprise. And I've seen other Mtgawa fights. He doesn't have Maidana's right hand savvy. JuanMa just made his hand look exponentially better.
And while Gamboa is susceptible to rights as well, he has much more speed and arguably more powerful than JuanMa. And like I said, he tuned his defense and is more patient. Speed can do amazing things to the most durable of men. And even when he is moving, he has enough stopping power. I'm putting my chips on Gamboa. He'll end up embarrassing JuanMa with his performance. That's just how I feel.
5) Krackle "I like this fight a lot. A real chance for Gamboa to prove that he's much better than peopel give him credit for. The "glas jaw" and low left hand of his is there to exploit I suppose but it won't be Mtagwa who does it IMO. Can't blame someone for doubting him though. He has behaved like he's the second coming and has been getting tagged in the process. But I'll be very surprised if Gamboa doesn't win easily. "
6)Uppercuts 21 " Anybody leaning towards Mtagwa for the upset. I just see so many vulnerabilities in Gamboa and I think he will fall into Mtagwas fight.
Gamboa if he fights intelligently shouldnt have a problem with Mtagwa but can he?
Im torn between this fight. Im really thinking of dropping some money on Mtagwa."

Gamboa should win. His speed will give a lot of trouble and he has decent power.
The Lopez fight has overrated Mtwaga. Lopez is a damn good fighter and is being underrated for having a few bad late rounds. Those rounds were due to his conditioning not being great.
A tired fighter is an easier fighter to hit. A tired fighter gets hurt more. Lopez use to beat people in a few rounds easily. He never had to go that far, and penolsoa made him go 7 I think? Well Lopez must surely be working on fitness and will not under estimate anyone.
Gamboa should win by UD, and wide IMO. His conditoning is good and Matwaga is not a classy fighter by all means. He has a chin and is tough, but he has lost many times.Gamboa was chasing Lopez, and wants to prove something.
I think Gamboa will blow him out of the water, Mtagwa has an awkward style but Juanma was there to be hit. Gamboa has a suspect defense but I feel he will have a HUGE speed advantage and not be as wreckless as he knows what happens when you take Rogers ightly.
