What do you think? We know Mosley actually did cheat in Oscar vs Shane 2, and who knows for how long. (knowingly or unknowingly).Margarito according to many might have used something in the Cotto. (knowingly or unknowingly)
Attempting to cheat is the same as cheating. The intent is all that matters. That is why attempted murder carries the same penalties as actual murder.
Attempted cheating can't even be related to a felony crime so your argument is shit. Attempted murder does not carry the same penalty as murder. Margarito was never even charged with a crime, yet you see fit to take everything away from him. Lol, that takes a brilliantly close minded person.
People need to stop grouping Shane and Tony together. Using roids and trying to maim someone with concealed weapons in your wraps are 2 different things. Shane is ok. I don't care about Margarito.
Insults? That's not insulting. All I'm saying is that your cocky ass calls out others for posting their opinions when you are doing the exact same thing. It's not like your opinion is factual or anything...
It is a FACT that Margarito has never been caught cheating. That is what I was arguing all along. So tell me smart guy, am I wrong and is that just an opinion?
Bwaahhaahha!!! Really? Is this really the best you guys got for me? Come on already. If you aren't gonna bring any facts to the table at least come with some entertaining insults.

When I said doping should be 2 years first offence (I believe that is the standard) and I said loaded gloves should carry a harsher penalty because it is the worse crime what is there not to understand about that my feelings are crystal clear his penalty should be more then 2 years and if it was forever I would not care one bit.
There is no proof he cheated before the Mosley fight but there is proof he attempted to cheat against Mosley that should carry the same penalty.
He probably won't be the the same fighter and he more then likely won't cheat again but that does not change how I feel, what he did was the worst possible crime in boxing 1 year is not enough especially given his lack of taking the blame and showing no remorse for the situation.
I also believe he should go before the commision that actually revoked his licence, if California saw fit to reinstate him I would be more willing to accept it but he is not even trying to get reinstated in California, I just don't see that as accepting his fate.
While I don't agree with your opinion I can understand and respect it. I'll leave it at that rather than argue in circles all day. Peace.
I use to like Margarito, but not any more. He probably cheated against Cotto and he's played stupid after getting caught against Mosely. But he's done what he was told to do by not asking to be reinstated until after a year. He's done his time. He could have fought in Mexico but didn't. He accepted what was given to him. With no other proof its just time to move on and let him fight again. He'll never be able to get away with cheating again, will always be under scrutiny, and I would bet when he comes back he won't be the same fighter. Thats enough for me.

I voted No, but don't be a hypocrite.
If you think Margarito should be banned for life then you have to say the same for Mosley.
I think Mosley's crime was actually worse. He actually did cheat during his fights. The only thing Margarito was caught for was attempting to cheat, yet he got the worse penalty.
Do I think Margarito could have cheated in his previous fights? Probably, but I'll only go with the facts and not speculation.
Thats what Im talking about. :fing02:
Just suprising given how you feel about the sport, that would would support a cheater like this, I find it odd.

Why should any attempted cheater (in that way) be allowed to obtain a licence in any state, they are under no obligation to give hima licence.
Why should he not? He's done his time and he is branded for life. Why take more from the man?
The only reason he is getting a licence is that it is a weak commision and money is greasing the skids, if that is cool with you whatever but that is suprising given past things you have said to me.
Such as?
Ok, but it was ONLY California that revoked his license. Why should there be a problem with Texas letting him fight there? They upheld California's ruling yet are under no obligation to keep him banned. He's served his sentence.

They didn't suspend him they revoked his licence, if you get your licence revoked there is no promise of reinstatement only it is possible after that year is up.

Obviously you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer. You have a picture with some blood on his handwraps, big deal. The wraps were examined and were passed by not only the NSAC, but Cotto's camp. You haven't got any plaster, you haven't got the wraps. All that leaves you with is speculation. Try again.
:rofl::rofl::rofl:....that killed it!!!
