Just saw this pic and is really telling, he looks slim but no muscle mass like in his fights against Cheato and Mosley.

How much you think he weigh in on fight night? He looked similar against Clottey also and his power was not there in either fight. I think a move to 154 might help him more than we think even if he is small for the division.
After he made Cotto weigh 145 pounds and put a rehydradtion clause on him.
big balls......yea right.
stop making shit up you dumb cunt there was no rehydration clause.
I previously thought you said it how it is...now im starting to think you jst rly dont like pac lol
You know damn well losing 1 pound would not do that to you.....IF ANYTHING even if cotto was smaller then usual you know it was down to him to lose that extra pound, hes a fking elite boxers...these lot have the best nutritionists around...
If he cant lose 1 pound and stay in good condition for a boxing fight then he doesnt deserve to be classed as an elite
But he is an elite..he came in fine, made the weight, gave a good performance but the better man won
you sound like someone who has never seen what a training does on a fighter and like someone who throws around losing 1 pound as nothing when you clearly have no idea
there clearly was a reason why Cotto went up from 140. If you don't realize that by now then there is nothing I can tell you however if you have ever seen a fighter hit a wall in terms of losing weight then I doubt you ever state the above ever again
shit isn't pretty to be honest and if his threshold is such that all he can get down to in a healthy manner is say 146 who are you to say otherwise? Unless you have firsthand knowledge about Miguel Cotto himself then you are no better than the people who think that 1 lb affected him so adversly that is the reason why he lost.
His body could have been more accustomed to coming in around 146-147 that all he had left was losing muscle mass rather than fluid. It's the same towards the end of run at 140 you could clearly see that Cotto was no longer made for 140 and he was losing muscle to get into 140 along with all the fluids out of his body.
for example
Malignaggi weigh in:

now compare that to an early weigh in for Bailey:

you could clearly see early on Cotto wasn't as filled out as he was for the Malignaggi fight as there was more muscle mass on his frame by that time thus making it near impossible for him to lose weight at 140 and still be optimal.
In the end though I do agree with you however in that it wasn't the weight that made him lose the fight. He ran into the better man period.
but don't go around so flippantly acting like weight loss for fighters isn't a big deal when clearly it is
Well that doesn't surprise me either. DLH was also seen as a great win :lol1:
of course its a great win he's a big underdog in that fight and pac defies the logic of a great big man always beat great little man and it help pac increase his legend status more.

:rofl::rofl:
let it go man. cotto lost the fight fair and square theres nothing to be ashamed of
Cotto came in around 146lbs during weight-in against Clottey and he weight 145lbs against pac.
Now if that 1lbs difference is a make or break for Cotto then I think he has a bigger problem.

Delahoya: ”I felt as if he could just land anything and I couldn’t do anything about it. I just didn’t care. I didn’t care if he was hitting me because I couldn’t do anything about it. Luckily he doesn’t hit hard. Obviously, if he would’ve hit hard, he would have knocked me out with no problem.”

And, dlh contradicted himself because he claimed that pac did not punch hard. That he was hoping would knock him out but pac could not punch hard enough. Try another source.
Cotto stans(not fans) just can't get over the fact that their 'pride' got his ass whoop by a former flyweight.
i mean, damn, did you see Cotto running for his dear life from the little man in rounds 6-11? Pac was taunting Cotto like' Why you running bitch, come here so I can kick your ****in ass all over the ring........bitch!"
That gotta hurt if you're a Cotto stan.
dude absolutely have no respect do u.... cotto is a class act u ****ing pacfart
Here is a real good pic of the Urkal fight

See his skin tone? He looks really white like paper compare to the first one.
i can't help but laugh when you compare the skin tone for those 2 pics lol! lol! lol!
as i watch other cotto fights i had to say that cotto who fought pac was the best cotto that i've ever seen.
Well that doesn't surprise me either. DLH was also seen as a great win :lol1:
