Pac-Clottey in March
Hopkins-Roy Jones Jr in April
and potentially
Mayweather-Mosley in May
I have a feeling that they may drop a 24/7 for one of the above ppv fights. What you guys think? Which one if any will get dropped?
Why wouldn't they be able to do it.
HBO is the golden standard in television(even though its not tv its hbo)
they also have like three or so new shows coming out and tons of new seasons of shit.
Also 24/7 is becoming a pretty good staple for them I'm sure they'd have both.
Ummm...Not having a 24/7 for the suggested biggest PPV draw & #1 p4p fighter in the world is very confusing???
Pac's been on them before???
24/7 is nothing but commercials for the fight...
This would be a great opportunity give us some background on Clottey and sell everyone on the excitement of having a fight in the new Cowboy stadium.
Rafeal already said that there is no 24/7 for Pac-Clottey.
I dont think the RJ-Hopkins fight is big enough for a 24/7 but those 2 are kinda made for 24/7 so it may happened.
Floyd-Mosley definitely will have one though
looks like Pacquiao-Clotteys been dropped.
Hopkins-RJJ will be a better 24/7 than Pac-Clottey anyway. The hatred between them will bring in the viewers plus will be more entertaining.
Obviously HBO wont drop a 24/7 for Mayweather-Mosley, theres more chance of England winning the world cup than that happeneing.
Jones-Hopkins is nearly as big a joke as Tarver-Balboa.
If they do a 24-7 for the fight it won't matter. Just like the ad campaign didn't matter when Crystal Clear Pepsi bombed.
HBO does not have to do a 24/7 for all there PPVs check 2008. Not all there PPVs had a 24/7. 2009 did but that is cuz it only had 3 ppv the whole year. This year HBO would probably do at the very least 5 PPVs. Pac-Clottey does not need a 24/7. 1 countdown show is enough... Hopkins-Jones will need a 24/7 they would need all the help they can get to promote that fight...
LMFAO.
You Americans crack me up. Why do people keep mentioning Jones/Hopkins as a credible fight? It's a JOKE. A DISGUSTING JOKE that IS ROTTING BOXING TO THE CORE.
They can do it, its not that hard to do. I wasn't really expecting a 24/7 for the hopkins vs jones fight but then again i wasn't expecting them to seriously put in on payperview as they will probably barely break even when all is said and done with that fight.
