If he doesnt I dont think he'll get too much credit for it, if he dominates shane on the way to a UD then they'll say shane was over the hill and it was expected, money may NEEDS to stretch out shane and retire him
PPL who hate Floyd will always hate him.....he is not my favorite boxer and I do criticize him alot but a dominant UD win over SSM is impressive and Floyd would deserve alot of credit for it.
Floyd is smart, this is his most dangerous fight. Its seems unlikely that he will go away from what he does best which is box and elect to trade thus giving his opponent his best chance to win.
Im a fan of floyd, he's not my favorite either, but I think he has alot to prove with this fight, and a KO would be HUGE CONSIDERING his past fights this is really a career defining fight

floyd needs to knockout the man who has never been knocked out and has only been knock down once?
Again why if he doesn't have to? Since when does Floyd care about proving that he has power?
He just displays great boxing and technique, and his goal is to win the fight while taking a minimal amount of damage.
You have to be a cautious minded person to understand that mindset I suppose.
So do u think a dominant, UD performance will slience the haters?
Floyd has it all except for power on a world class level, he can't bang with the heavy hitters at ww and really doesn't have to so why should he if he can win more safely?
To prove that he can get in their and take out a bigger stronger natural welterweight, I aint sayin he's gon brawl with shane but I do think he's comin for blood in this fight

That's what I'm saying, the kid is a brilliant boxer, why risk trying to bang with a beast like Mosley? Even if Shane is passed it.
Then you need to review Mayweather's welterweight career.
Its no secret that floyd never fought a REAL welterweight, everyone knows it, thats really why im looking forward to this fight, shane is gonna be there to MAKE FLOYD FIGHT, thats why I think he needs a KO to prove that he is for real
Shane has a damn good chin, but floyd can wear him down with solid combos, and hard counters, the case with marquez, I think he wanted to go all 12 jus to shake off the rust, in this fight money has alot to prove and he's goin for the kill, cuz shanes goin for the kill
I don't see it. Only time Mayweather gets aggressive is when he is losing a round or two. He is dealing with Mosley, not Castillo or Judah, aggression won't win him the fight.
Anything can happen in boxing. However, Mayweather is not a powerful puncher, and he doesn't go in for the kill, unless it's dead in front of him.
Mosley has a very good chin, and he has seldom been really hurt in his career outside of Forrest.
Floyd didn't want to attempt finishing off Marquez. He is safety first and he has always been.

I think money can knock him out, not from one punch, but from whoopin his ass and breakin him down

So noboby thinks floyd can KO shane?

Very unlikely he knocks Shane out. Shane is as durable as it gets, and Mayweather is not a big puncher, especially not at welterweight.
So noboby thinks floyd can KO shane?
Shane is one tough bastard. Only way Shane gets KO'd is if he leaves himself open all night to Mayweathers counters...and even then a late round KO would be questionable.

I agree. This will bring Floyd haters back up imo.
Hopefully it isnn't another boring decision
