I'm sure this topic has been covered but I think Shane is in bigger trouble than Floyd. His age, layoff, and open style give's Floyd all the advantages. Shane has a punchers chancs, thats all.
No they didn't
Shane faced a prime Oscar, whereas Mayweather faced an old shell of Oscar. You cannot compare them, and how did shane struggle more when he beat a prime oscar twice, and mayweather arguably beat an old oscar.
:headbang:
I disagree. Almost everyone would agree that Mosley is the underdog, so therefore hes got nothing to worry about because everyones expecting Floyd to take this by UD. Floyd is the one who is under pressure to keep his 0, and if he gets beat, everyone will say 'the first time he fought an elite welterweight, he got beat by a 40 year old'
I agree. Alot of experts are picking Floyd to dominate Shane. The age, his layoff, and his style are all riding against him. Also, whether its true or not, Shane is convinced that Floyd has been ducking him. I'm sure he feels that Floyd can't hurt him, if anything, he'll lose by a decision. I think right now, he's just thinking of making that money. Shane's got everything to gain and nothing to lose. It should be a great fight!
They faced a common opponent in De La Hoya, Shane, imo, struggled more with him. Also Winky, Vernon...it shows Mosley has a tough time with pure boxers, or better yet, jabbers.
