I don't think he'd be #1 at welterweight if he beat Mosley. Mosley is great but old. Maybe if he beat him five years ago. Mosley couldn't beat Cotto and Cotto lost to Pacquaio so I think for Mayweather to obtain a lofty lb4lb ranking at this point it would take alot more.

I don't hink so. As long as Manny doesnt lose to Clottey I think that Mayweather will have to beat him to become #1 p4p. But thats the best fighter besides Pac he could beat and he would be WBA champ making a fight with him and Pacquiao even more appealing.

If PBF wins by SD, while Pac annihilates Clottey, then Pac is still # 1. If both win by UD, PBF is #1. If PBF stop Mosley, it doesn't matter what Pac does, PBF will be no. 1. I doubt the fight will be made though. Fingers crossed.

IF he fights shane, he would have came back and fought the #3 p4p (marquez) when he came back and the #3p4p now. its a tough choice imo depends how manny does against clottey.
