You could ask that question for plenty of fighters... Why don't B. Hopkins haters jus ignore him, or Pacquiao's, or Cotto, etc. If nobody had any "haters" there would be nothing to argue/debate about on here... It does get stupid and ridiculous at times tho...

Why are you guys complaining so much about Floyd? You guys complained about his style, his personality, and for not fighting the fighters you wants him to fight. There's an easier way to solve all these problems, BOYCOTTING him. Don't pay to watch his PPV fights, ignores anything he says about himself being the best, just avoid anything relating to him. Why can't everyone just do that? No one is forcing you to buy his fights, so why complained if his style is boring to watch, why not just watch the other fighters you thinks are much more entertaining to watch. He has already stated that he is in the sport of boxing for the money, not for the legacy,that should be an enough reason to stop watching him. I personally think that most of his haters (even if they won't admit it) thinks that he has the all-around talent and skillset to beat anyone from 140 - 154, maybe that's the reason he is most hated guy in boxing today. I don't like Golf, Volleyball, Hockey, so what do i do? I boycotting them, i don't complained about them because there are other sports that i enjoyed watching more. Floyd haters should do the same thing, just continued on watching guys like, Mosley, Pacquiao, Paul Williams, ect and ignores Floyd's fights. I got to give Floyd credits, he sure knows how to make people hates him. I have problem on that suggestion. Before i like him watching beating his opponent now i love to see how he will loss.

What about those with Avatars and signatures of Floyd photoshopped like a "chicken", "homosexual", ect...You can't tell me that Pac gets more hate than Floyd, that would be a straight lie. Why make the thread??? The Haters like you refer to them Pay Mayweather's bills and keep his name out there, He need those people if not he would be just another american Boxer Like Mosley or Paul Williams.

it's like watching a movie, you watch the movie as a whole, just because you hate the antagonist doesn't mean you have to ignore him, he makes the movie more interesting. this goes both ways whether you hate floyd or you hate pac, hate keeps the sport alive and kickin. floyd retired for quite a bit and boxing fans never stopped hating him, this made his comeback easier to promote. hate helps keep the hype up from both sides which is why i find it interesting and exciting to have these 2 extreme groups constantly arguing with each other (barring racism of course). i think if there are more boxers as hated as these 2 right now, the sport would be alot better. hate encourages the fighters and fans alike to be more competitive and loyal, the sport needs it... baseless accusations however will kill it. Same thing could be said for Floyd. Anyway, Manny is not even close in terms of hatred compare to Floyd. If you believe Manny is the most hated boxer today, you're lying to yourself.

In my opinion, Floyd fans piss off Manny fans thus Manny fans retaliate and bags the shit of Floydie. That's the reason in my opinion. But there are some who just hates lil Floydie.

i agree.....pacquiao is bloody awesome to watch and its obvious that his style of fighting will attract the casual fan more so than Mayweather but all im saying if you're a true fan of the sport you will always pay to see Mayweather because he is one for the purists Good post man. I like watching Mayweather pick apart top fighters, but if he's fighting smaller or underskilled fighters it's just not interesting to me. His skills are ATG status though.

In case you did not know, haters work harder then fans. For someone they claim to not like, they spend alot of time and energy toward that person. Not just Floyd in particular.

you know why i buy floyd fights??? because i love the sport of boxing and Floyd Mayweather is the best PURE boxer is the world....thats why i pay to watch Mayweather, because boxing is an art and Mayweather is Picasso That's great, but not everyone sees it that way. The majority of people who watch a fight sport want to see blood, not defense. If Mayweather is Picasso to you, Pacquiao is Leonardo Da Vinci to me. His offensive style is a masterpiece to watch.

I don't hate Floyd, but he deserves his criticism. Manny Pacquiao does not deserve people telling him he's doing something illegal without any shred of proof whatsoever. I used to be a big fan of Mayweather when he was fighting people worth a damn. Now I only stream his fights and only buy Pacquiao fights because I know that Pacquiao always gives me my moneys worth. I really don't know why Floyd has such hardcore fans. He's said publicly that he doesn't care about his fans or his legacy. :dunno:

That's what I do. I just ignore the stupid things he says, keep tabs on how things are going with whoever he is going to fight, and watch the fight if it is legitimate.

No one is accusing Manny of anything, they're just suspicious and we all have the rights to be suspicious about certain things. I wish Manny Haters could do the same thing, boycotting his fights.
