Kelly Pavlik vs. Sergio Martinez Deal Is Reached; Announcement in Coming Days

Once again for the people who are deaf. I spoke with both Top Rank and Lou Dibella this morning. Both sides told me this story is absolutely not true. They have not even discussed the fight in days. There is no date, venue or deal for money even made.

Great news. Sergio Martinez got robbed against Cintron and IMO barely won against Pwill. Im glad to see him get the opportunity against Pavlik. My only fear is that Pavlik will slip on a banana during training camp and injur his left pinky toe. He might pull out of the fight and come back 2 weeks later against a great opponent the likes of Lajuan SImon.

id rather watch williams vs pavlik but i guess this is the next best thing should be interesting but if sergio fights like he did against williams and trades with pavlik he will be stopped

Normaly you cant just exspect to edge out a champ with a decision. Its even worse for a non American. So Martinez will have his work cut out for him. Plus Martinez looked very small compared to Pwill. And Pavlik is even bigger and harder hitting. Should be a good fight. Would rather see Pwill and Pavlik though. They are both action fighters.

At least this time nobody can say Pavlik only wants to fight weak sauce. I think Sergio is the absolute toughest fighter he could pick right now. Sergio's style is all wrong for him. I'm not saying Sergio will win, but the door is there and certainly it isn't locked. Pavlik will have to use his height and reach the best he can, something Williams does not do. i agree man. he needs to lure sergio into a toe to toe war...otherwise he will get outboxed. serg is so quick, and has great footwork.

Sergio is going to decision Pavlik. Sergio has better movement and ability, i think he's all wrong for Pavlik.

Good fight! Could this mean Mayweather will fight Williams? Who else is Williams gonna fight now that his two most likely opponents are fighting each other? i think a decent fight for williams is Cintron no way FM is fighting williams, wlthough i see FM winning that fight, he wont take it
