Kermit Cintron, in your a opinion, is he an acceptable challenge for floyd???

Stop talking about paul williams cuz there is no way in hell pbf is gonna take that fight, paul already challenged mayweather 3 times and pbf said he's too big every time. Ok let's look at cintron. Cintron has power and only has 2 losses which were to margacheato and is 3 inches taller than floyd. I don't like cintron much either but I will be rooting for him in this fight. GIVE HIM SOME PUNISHMENT KERMIT WAR CINTRON!!

cintron is not the best opposition out there for sure. but does he have a chance of landing that lucky shot on floyds chin? yea. i doubt that would happen though, it would definately have to happen early in the fight.

In hindsight, that doesn't look at least a little suspect to you??? Uh, no, just like I didn't see the headbutt that Cintron cried about. Looked like a clean shot to the face that put him on his ass for 15 seconds. It's not impossible to take a hard body shot from a guy with unloaded gloves and go down. Margarito is a much better fighter than Cintron hands down.

Bullshit. Sergio KO'd Cintron in the 7th round and everybody knows it. A draw? Give me a break. Cintron has legitimately lost 3 fights. And to be honest, I doubt Margarito would risk cheating against Cintron. I don't think he had loaded gloves in that fight. Mosley and Cotto is another story. As far as I know...He's still capable of fighting any of the top Jr. Middleweights and Floyd is a bona-fide welterweight...remember he couldn't even get to 154 ( He came into the ODLH fight a fully bulked up 152)

I don't understand the support for a fight like this. Floyd is a top contender who has fought a lot of bums and some good fighters. WHY NOT FACE BOXING'S ELITE????? They're out there wanting to fight him. Nobody is going to pay to see PBF beat up Cintron. Elite!!! who's left...I think your alluding to a PWill fight...That fight needs to be in the fall or early 2011...It will be a monster fight but PWill needs to get a personality and gain global appeal...and I think beating Pavlik would create some good momentum! Mosley on the other hand will have to wait until May as he is fighting this month and PBF appears to be scheduled in March... Bradley is the only other fighter available and I don't really think he's an elite fighter yet...as his to biggest fights were against Kendall Holt and Lamont Peterson... No other Elite fighter remain??? Correct me if I'm wrong

I can't believe anyone would say this isn't a Bona-Fide opponent - The dude has only two losses to someone who MANY consider cheated!!! He could have possibly gone undefeated and definetly has KO power... He beat an undefeated Alfredo Angulo at light middleweight and He went 12 rounds with Martinez - Who by the way, just went twelve rounds with PWill!!! I would have been killing PBF if he would have fought Campbell, Hatton or Mags!!! PBF is sitting pretty right now...Has potentially three solid fights that could clear him NEARLY 40 million or more - Cintron: 10+, Mosley: 12/15+ and PWill 15+ = 37-40 Million and if he wins all three he retires as an ATG...and he doesn't have to mention PAC's name in the process...as a PWill win would erase any doubts about what would have happened during PAC fight. I say choose this path!!!

Cintron is fine as an interim opponent. He's no worse than Clottey IMO. People get on him cause of the Martinez fight. Yes it was a robbery...but people act like Sergio went in there and shut him out. Let's not forget, he made Martinez look like shit as well, and it was like an 8-4 competitive but clear decision for Sergio. And the knockout thing, look. Cintron was completely lucid after the knockdown. He was more than capable of getting up, so the people who say he was knocked out are full of it. I don't like Cintron, but he's tall, has pop and has learned how to use his height. He's a perfectly capable opponent for Floyd, and is good enough to get Floyd's haters off his back for a little.
