Who would you sign with Top Rank or Golden Boy? TOP RANK ALL DAY

either would be alright, but if i were a superstar in the making, a la DLH or FMJ, i'd be smart and leave the company or just buy out my contract. Why pay a percentage to a promoter when your name sells itself?

TR is good at building a fighter. But once your actually built......the fact that he is taking such a steep cut off the top would piss me off.

The only thing GBP has going for it is they're in bed with HBO. And what a disaster that turned out to be for HBO. I'm sure they are regretting that now, in hindsight.

Top Rank. Better stable of fighters and a proven record of creating stars. I don't like Arum very much, but if you want to get a dog to guard your house, you don't buy a poodle. The only thing GBP has going for it is they're in bed with HBO.

if you want your big fight options limited to top rank fighters, you sign with top rank.... Most of the top fighters are with Top Rank so that's really no problem. If you want to face Mexican tomato cans up into your late 30's, you sign with GBP.

those of you saying you prefer gbp, ask yourselves what young fighter has gbp developed from the ground up? top rank like it or not is a top flight organization grooming fighters from their beginning.

Bob Arum is not only a Flatbush Brooklyn dude like myself, but he handles his biz, His fighters are getting their money in these megafights, he did not let Manny PacGwire get pushed into a corner by PBF's camp, he then dumped that fight put his man Clottey in the highest paying fight of his career, and without HBO's help he is doing the PPV by HIMSELF, in the Dallas Cowboys stadium, hats off to the Brooklynite. If you sign with Top Rank you'd only fight Top Rank fighters, might be the same with GB but at least they have more fighters on their roster.

Top Rank as they have a better stable of fighters imo from top to bottom. GBP's stable are getting older and older. And the youngsters they do have didnt really impress me when i watched them.....

This rarely happens and ensures that Bob Arum would get a financial return if his guy had to go on another promoters card to be an opponent. For instance when Pac fought Cotto, Arum did not receive any of either fighter's purse money. He got site fees, network money, advertising dollars and PPV revenue. I don't want to sign with GBP since homosexeuls ran that company. Plus that ugly pig Mayweather is there, yuck! I don't want to get near that guy!

I'm not a fan of ODLH but they're promotional machine is better than Top Ranks...and as it was mentioned earlier...Top Ranks takes a massive cut right off the top...
