His parents immigrated from Haiti. He was born and raised in Florida. After being DQ'd in the US Olympic Trials he claimed dual citizenship and represented Haiti in the Olympics as a one man Haitian Boxing Team. He lost in the 1st round to a dude from France. He was raised in Florida, but his parents was Haitian. I like Berto for representing his culture, but I still think Mosley will win. He helped out Haiti even before any earthquakes which gives him props.

"I'm going for Berto because the people of Haiti need it." GTFOH Berto runs around and acts like a "Superstar" but he has never accomplished things to earn him "Superstar" status. I just remembered Elie Seckbach making a video about Andre Berto and his culture. He was helping out Haiti when the earthquake did not even occur. I hope he gets motivational boost.
