Fighters are judged On How they dominated their eras and where they ranked in their era. When you go into the HOF , it is not just the greatest fighters of all time. It is a tribute to the boxers who have gone before, and to those who have strived to reach the standard their predecessors have set. 1.Floyd didnt fight in Ali Era 2.Floyd didnt Fight in SRR Era 3.Floyd didnt fight in SRL Era You can only fairly judge him on how he stood in his era. And in Floyd's Era He stood of top of the Mountain the longest. When you dominated for 10 years straight. When you becoming the first person to ever moved up 5 weight classes and win the offical titles in every weight class he went into while remaining UNDEFEATED that is amazing. There has to be some credit given for constantly being excellent at what you do. Because guess what?, being consistant is the hardest thing about being great !!! He's not the greatest, but all greats have to think like that. Gives them that competitive edge. I would say Floyd is the best skilled boxer we have seen in decades, but in order for Floyd to move up in my ATG he has to beat better competition. Until then he sits at 10-15 in my book.

Floyd is a great fighter. I just wish he'd fight better competition to prove it to the world. As of now, he's only proven that he wants the safest route to greatness. That doesn't always work. Floyd needs to fight this era's best which include Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto, Williams, Martinez, Margarito, Clottey. I'd gain more respect for him if he fought any of them. He might even make me his fan again.

He dont care about his fans....he dont care about his legacy....he wont go out of his way to fight some1 who will give him 10 times the credit then another fighter (e.g. mosley/berto/cotto or some1 pac now even) hes pretty much a cherry picker.... He might of been 1 of the best we have ever seen at the lower weights....and we realy dont know how great he is at welterweight because hes in his own world and dont wanan fight and even if he does...he lets his ego get in the way....
