Williams/Mayweather money issue

I would not go that far, he looked rough as hell after that fight and had months to train....Martinez had 4 weeks. Floyd is gonna push for 70-30 you now that but I thin Williams should and could get it at 50-50% you're just a dumbass hater, PWill trained for pavlik then at the last minute gets put in with a slick southpaw...and you expect him to perform at %100? you dumb as hell. the fight is nothing new for martinez he just train for a usual righty. and none of this matter cause mayweather would hang himself before he ever steps in a ring with the Punisher.

The very most he would get at this time is 40%, and I dont think he even gets that.

Team Williams should get the bigger share of the $$ after his amazing fight where he whipped Martinez. Also he wiped out Winky and Margarito. Floyd hasnt done shit lately. I cant see this fight happening unless team Mayweather gets theyr mind right. Plus its short notice! There is ZERO chance of this fight happening on March 13. Yet, amazingly, there is even LESS of a chance that Floyd would allow Paul Williams to get anywhere near 50/50 of the split. :nonono:

I really, really doubt the fight his happening, but purse splits aren't based on merit anyway. They're based on box office draw. Marquez was on a nice run, Mayweather had been off for 21 months. Who got the bigger share of the split? The guy who was involved in big PPVs. De La Hoya had fought once in two and a half years when he faced Mayweather. Mayweather had just beaten the last two lineal WW champions. Who got the lion's share of the split? The bigger draw, DLH.

Pacquiao fan: This should be in the fantasy forum. Why should Williams get more than Floyd when he's not the bigger draw? I don't care who Williams beat if we are talking about just numbers and PPV buys. Yes, he did beat some good fighters in the last couple of years, but he didn't sell millions of PPV buys like Floyd. Floyd is the current cashcow of boxing. His fans will buy his fight because they like him and his haters will buy the fight because they want to see him lose. Can you say the same thing about Williams? I don't think so. Floyd has a history of selling millions of PPV buys. How many PPV buys has Williams sold in his last 3 fights? Compare the PPV buys to Floyd's last three fights... Williams should be grateful to even have a chance to step in the ring with Floyd. Floyd should get at least a 70-30 split.

The Punisher will fight floyd for 30%,I'm sure of this,but no need to worry cause floyd would never fight the Punisher,hell he's shook off Mosley,Cotto & Margarito he aint gonna get caught in the squared circle with Punishment,no way!!

Williams priced himself out of a Pavlik fight and Kelly doesnt bring even a quarter of the money that Floyd brings yet you think Williams should get 60-40 against Floyd even though Floyd brings all the money and is ranked higher?
