Joshua Clottey is the new Luis Collazo

Breaking your hand in a boxing fight is very common, and even in sparring with bigger gloves. That shit would always happen to me. Some people can fight on with it but others can't adapt to it and just settle on surviving the fight. That's why I respect Mayweather.

Glen Johnson also fits in that category. A real good fighter who falls short against top opponents and claims robbery in close fights. Although I think Clottey beat Cotto, you can't call it a highway robbery.

He has made his career on looking pretty good but losing close fights against top opposition. Like Collazo lost to Hatton, Mosley and Berto, Clottey has lost to Baldomir, Margarito and Cotto. He does not do anything very well, but has a very good chin. He is not overly fast and does not have great power. Yeah, reminds me of Ike Qartay (?).

As far as I'm concerned Clottey & Collazo have been champions & if they were bigger stars,some of those losses would have been wins!!I really like underdog fighters like them,because in a world where boxings biggest stars are cherrypicking crybabies,these guys put in major work on the low & make exciting fights!!!

Clottey is slightly better than Collazo... The comparison is not about who is a better figter, it is about solid fighters who have made their career off their close losses instead of legitimate or marquee wins.

wasn't that a bullshit DQ? Serious? his defence is among the best in the game today. He was deducted two points in round 10 for leading with his head. He was deducted another point in the 11th for the same, and then after a 4th time, was dq'd. Its a tough call. Clottey did not brutally headbutt Baldy, but he consistently defied the referee's instructions over the course of two rounds. fastforward to round 10 in the first vid.
