It seems like most media outlets and polls are blaming him for the fight not coming off pretty much based on the fact that he's asking for a blood test with a fighter that's never tested positive for any banned substances. Coupled with the fact that Pacquiao is willing to take blood test, just not 24 days before the fight AND the fact that the USADA went on record to state that a URINALYSIS was more than sufficient a year ago, the blame has fallen on Floyd no matter what press releases he makes. All this "all Pacquioa has to do is take the test when Floyd wants it and we have a fight" stuff isn't flying with the media and casual public.
In the eyes of the world, the biggest fight in history wasn't made because Floyd was scared. How is Floyd going to alter this perception? Floyd should offer a 20 day window and see if they decline. If they do, it would look bad on Pac's end.
only one lookin bad is the roid user
especially with all arums lies, and after floyd came PUBLICS with 14 day cut off
manny lookin like a real coward if he dont accept
lolz, all empty statements. you sound just like your idol.
More of a self serving rule than a useless one. If the commission mandated that type of extensive drug testing then their wouldn't even be a discussion. Apparently Floyd thinks he is bigger than boxing.
:bottle::bottle::bottle:
He gets tested every time he fights, he passed all of them. There is nothing to hide. The Olympic testing is a Mayweather rule, and a useless one too.

all i got out of all this is that pac dont want random blood testing cuz he got something to hide.
boxers follow the boxing commission rules not the mayweather rules.floyd is not boxing.
Hopefully and I am not saying it will or will not... I am saying hopefully, the fight happens later on in the year, but I guess time will tell.
In one sense, a later date might be smarter anyway... I mean theres only like 8 weeks left to prepare for the fight on March 13th, they had to do some advertising and that... I mean the fight would be huge and sell anyway but they were still pressed for time. If it happens at a later date, there will be more time for both sides to prepare... and more time for promoting and advertising the fight. But obviously... they've got to agree on terms first.
Both are to blame to a certain extent to be honest. I just think its sad and pathetic that people are trying to blame one person just for the sake of disliking him and defending there favorite fighters. That goes for both Manny and Floyd stans, its extremely hard to find somebody with an unbiased and objective view on the situation and the people who have those views left NSB because of all the nonstop spamming that Floyd and Manny stans were doing... and the truth is, instead of doing the smart thing like mangler, reed, etc. did and just leave it, I got drawn into arguments which didn't help things.
Both are to blame, a 14 day cut off (if true) is extremely reasonable and basically meeting half way cause Manny wanted 30 days and Floyd wanted 0... so Team Pacquiao could of accepted it, but on the other hand Floyd demanding the blood tests in the first place started it, even though I think its a good idea for the sport. Both sides are equally to blame to a certain extent here.
but honestly I think Arum has been the worst (not Manny), he has handled everything wrong... I mean lying about the judge offering a 24 day cut off and saying Manny accepted it and Floyd didn't... then the judge saying he basically didn't get that involved, also saying that Haymon and Shaeffer begged him which turned out to be a lie according to team Mayweather, it basically makes you wonder what else hes been lying about... I mean for all we know Team Mayweather might have stretched the truth a little bit, but Floyd was extremely patient throughout negotiations and didn't tell the press barely anything... Arum was the one doing it, Floyd only come out and spoke when Arum started spouting bullshit. What gets me the most is, I am now wondering why Arum felt the need to lie like that... felt the need to try and jump in first.
At the end of the day, talking objectively, both are to blame to a certain extent... but this forum really did prove how pro-Pacquiao it really was when as soon as Arum spoke nearly everyone ran with it and started pointing the finger without listening to both sides of the story... at least this might have taught people to not believe the first thing said and to at least listen to what bot sides have to say.
Once again, sorry for the rant... but thats JMO.
Hello Coach, do you think a 10 day difference in testing warrants Pretty Boy's refusal to accept a deal? What is he afraid of? Does PBF feel that Pacquiao will be that much "Stronger" if he allowed him the extra 10 day cutoff? C'mon now, that's totally ridiculous and you know it.
WHAT IS PRETTY BOY AFRAID OF? :la:
it was Roach's idea about 5 days..duh..he said that he would be FINE with that...why did you avoid that?
I know why, because you are a pac stan like the thread starter.
Well that's stupid because it's Pac's fault.
I'm not a huge fan of either guy, but this shit is on Pac. Don't see how it's even debatable.
i dont understand your logic. floyd makes a new rule to the 100+ years of boxing to stop the fight from happening. pac says yes to tests after the fight and and 24 days before which is more than enough because he is innocent.
people need to stfu and really listen to themselves.
who was the first to break the rules. floyd. and pac still said o.k ill take them.

just not lookin good for Floyd. Especially if Manny keeps fighting on and Floyd is left with his dick in his hand. They need to come up with another move. This has become more like a political smear campaign from both sides.
I like how you avoiding my thread...pac stan
you jump from fighter to fighter to hate on Floyd...
2501, your just still grumpy and cant believe your #1 fav fighter lost to Mayweather....:canada:
Give it a rest bro, Mayweather's skill set >>>>>>>>>100million years to Marquez....

Not taking a blood test? 24 day cutoff and an after fight blood test. Ya, you're right. The Pacman doesn't want to be tested.
Get real!!! Lead, Get real!!! :nonono:
Master Roach was FINE with a 5 day window..Floyd is saying 14..that is MORE than enough time....RIGHT???
Quote:
"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."

Lol. This thread doesn't seem to be working out to good for TS. Too many talking out their ass on this site!
Nothing I've said has been inaccurate.
http://www.************.com/2010/01/floyd-gets-the-blame-for-mayweather-pacquiao-stalemate-in-la-times-poll/
By Eric Thomas: In a poll at the Los Angeles Times, Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes a huge amount of the blame for negotiations stalemate with Manny Pacquiao with the boxing fans that have taken part in the poll.
Of the 12, 819 votes that have been submitted in the poll, 9,615, roughly 75% of the voters, think that Mayweather is to blame for the impasse. Whereas with Pacquiao, only 794 (6%) of the voters think he’s the reason for the negotiation troubles.
What’s unknown is where the voters come from. It could be that a link to the article was posted on a popular boxing site frequented by fans of one of the fighters, and this could be a factor for why the results seem so lopsided.
Two fighters are their management teams are currently trying to work out a solution to the stalemate involving random blood testing with mediator Daniel Weintein. Yesterday, they met with Weinstein for nine hours, but there was no word as to whether there was any progress or not in the negotiations.
Pacquiao is open to limited blood testing on three separate occasions, two of which would occur leading up to the fight. However, Mayweather wants the blood testing to be random and continuous all the way up to the March 13th bout.
Both fighters will look to take alternative bouts if the mediator fails to come up with a solution to their problems. Pacquiao may be fighting World Boxing Association light middleweight champion Yuri Foreman, while Mayweather could be fighting Matthew Hatton or some other still to be determined opponent.
Lol@you justifying manny not taking a blood test. Wow.
The more important question is... how many of them has been released after they heard what the judge said... and which ones aren't wrote by Scoop *loooooooooooool*
