Are the two parties actually having discussions about this fight?? Can someone link me info or is it just hearsay and rumour??
I think this fight is too risky for an ageing hopkins, and that it will prolly not go ahead but after Greens victory over Jones it seems a logical step to regain US honour and all that jizz.
Regardless of his age, no way Hopkins goes down against Green. If Green tries to rush Hopkins, he's getting punished all night long. Hopkins wins by UD, I'll bet on it.
earl,
u r a hater so your comments have no credit.
green is not crap and u know it. u r a narc.
u should know that green was world champ before he came back again, so green has more than enough cred to fight anybody. so stfu if u don't know what your talking about.
Hopkins would be crazy to go overseas at his stage in his career. He should give in and fight Dawson. He's done enough to be remembered as a great, he should either go for the gold or retire. I'd hate to see him end his career on a bad note.
Thanks for link subz,
I do like Vic but he seemed to be back into his head 1st attack and got schooled by agbeko. Boy doesn't seem to learn, but I do go watch him fight.
what about Darchinyan? him and Katsidis are your best fighters by FAR
This is true.
As far as Hopkins-Green goes... There was a report on here a few days ago about Green still wanting the fight, but Hopkins being hesitant to agree to anything below a 60-40 split - which is a highly contentious issue, considering the fight would be held in Australia and that Green would bring with him a very large fan base. Green wants 50-50... But it looks like he's going to have to concede something if he wants Hopkins to travel down under.

As an australian, I got Katsidis, Mundine and Green to go for.
Katsidis doesn't get that great opportunities, Mundine = Fail, so green it is. He aint the best fighter but he does have a decent record and has def fought better comp than Mundines argentinian bus drivers.
