As a true Mayweather fan, I feel that Floyd is one of the greatest fighters in a long time. With that said I must commend Manny Pacquiao on all he has accomplished in the ring and outside of it. I debate all the time with Pacquiao fans , but the truth is I admire the guy. He came from nothing and became P4P. That is amazing. It's hard to hate on someone I can relate to. I don't know if he is on steroids, and I hope he is not for the good of the sport. But the guy has been entertaining me as a boxing fan for many years. So with that said, I will never disrespect the guy again. I won't get dragged into a flomo vs pactard debate anymore. From now on i"m just a boxing fan. Two great fighters will meet in the ring march 13th I hope, and I can't wait.
I'm the same... Floyd is my favorite boxer, but Manny is also one of my favorite boxer's. I respect Manny because he's humble and he works hard for everything he has. The guy went from being a one dimensional boxer to being one of the best boxers in this era. Manny went from rags to riches and showed everyone with hard work everything is possible.
Just because I don't agree that Manny is God and Manny is the greatest boxer of all time, it doesn't mean I'm not a Manny fan. Some Manny fans here accused me of pretending to be a Manny fan, but I really like the guy. I don't have a problem calling out Manny or Floyd. I think Floyd's camp accusing Manny of steroids was a bitch move.
My avatar is just a joke, lol.
I just want the fight happen because boxing really needs this fight.
good thread TS. i believe that all the hate in the threads is just a product of pure frustration by passionate fans. when the fight gets signed, it will be back to good old trash talking and not over the top hate.
A fan of both. This just needs to happen for the Sport of boxing to be honest.:boxing:
i agree this has to happen but I agree with Mr Montoya on secondsout.com
"If the fight ever happens and Floyd wins, people will say “Well, Manny was not on ‘roids so he lost.” If Floyd loses, then he can argue Manny found a way to beat the tests. What Floyd has done, besides begin speculation about Manny Pacquiao, is effectively kill any joy we had in this fight"
so yes, it kinda lost its competitiveness and will be always be clouded with doubts and excuses from now on
same here.. pacquiao is very entertaining and a true warrior.. and i respect floyds amazing boxing skill..all i want is this fight to be fkn signed already..

so you were on your Way to Damascus and seen the light!
I am not a fan of floyd outside of the ring but was never really into the I hate floyd bandwagon until this drug fiasco came about. Unless he apologize to manny, compromise and give us this fight then I doubt I'll be arranging a trip to to Damascus in the very near future
