MEGAFIGHT DOOMED! THANKS MANNY!
By Danny Howard | December 31, 2009
When negotiations began for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao super fight, I had predicted that Mayweather would hold up the fight due to his massive ego and desire for an unrealistic purse split. For a fighter who calls himself "Money" and constantly refers to himself as the greatest fighter of all time, a parity split of the purse would be like a slap in the face to him, especially against an opponent that he considers being inferior to him. The boxing world would turn around and bash Mayweather and condemn him even further as the fight fell through, his reputation soiled and his ego damaged.

I can kind of follow in terms of him actually having to cut to make the weight when he fought Morales, but he doesn't really have to cut to make 147 so that throws that argument out the window. Also, the first thing that came out was that he was afraid of needles, then it was he was superstitious. Also, they agreed to have testing by other agencies but not the one who have confirmed results testing for HGH. Lets not forget that Mosley passed the testing even though he was doping.
Wow, I never saw that video. Pacman's honest. I don't think he'd make that shit up. That could be a very big part of the whole blood issue right there. He feels he's lost already once because of it. He doesn't want to give it away again in arguably one of his last fights and to put away Floyd for good. It's very understandable now. Thank you for posting that. I hope more can see it because that right there lies most of the truth behind the situation with Manny and his own personal reason not going through with it.
