Apparently, P4P boxing is the toughest sport ever invented. Take a look:
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/sportSkills
We sized them up. We measured them, top to bottom. We've done our own Tale of the Tape, and we've come to a surprising conclusion. Pound for pound, the toughest sport in the world is . . .
Boxing.
The Sweet Science.
That's the sport that demands the most from the athletes who compete in it. It's harder than football, harder than baseball, harder than basketball, harder than hockey or soccer or cycling or skiing or fishing or billiards or any other of the 60 sports we rated.
In Page 2's Ultimate Degree of Difficulty Grid, boxing scores higher than them all.
SPORTSNATION: DO YOU AGREE?
# Vote: What's the toughest sport of all?

But don't take our word for it. Take the word of our panel of experts, a group made up of sports scientists from the United States Olympic Committee, of academicians who study the science of muscles and movement, of a star two-sport athlete, and of journalists who spend their professional lives watching athletes succeed and fail.
They're the ones who told us that boxing is the most demanding sport -- and that fishing is the least demanding sport.
We identified 10 categories, or skills, that go into athleticism, and then asked our eight panelists to assign a number from 1 to 10 to the demands each sport makes of each of those 10 skills. By totalling and averaging their responses, we arrived at a degree-of-difficulty number for each sport on a 1 to 100 scale. That number places the difficulty of performing each sport in context with the other sports we rated.
On the grid below, click on each sortable category to find out how our 60 sports rank in each skill. A glossary key is included at the bottom of the grid that explains each category.
So put on the gloves, get in the ring and let the roundhouse hooks begin.

I apologize for my mistake earlier to all those who viewed this thread MMA is not a sport yet
Damn that's pretty cool, I admit I did try Muay Thai before and I quit because it was too hard so I went back to boxing lol. Why do you wait an hour after practice to eat?
basiclly we cant drink during practice. so if you sneak to restroom you can have sips, but after practice, have to wait for 1 hr. can't really explain.. my Eng is pretty bad. pros usually dont drink, since they need to lose weight, hydrate. beginners can eat everything. and after practice if you dont eat for 1 hr.. your muscles relax and built(with time), so after 1 hr food/water goes to your natural weight. if you drink or eat right after practice, it will just go back into fats that you lost during practice. lol hopes that makes sense:boxing:
Yes it is and mayweater has taken performance drugs for shure, dont believe me,just take a good look at his enlarged jaw in some of his picks!!!the only people fe fools are the ones that dont know shit about elevated testosterone!!!!heloves money more than enough to cheat, and anywayz who in the hell would trust him forreal?
WOW can you PLEASE stop talking about Mayweather and the steroids fiasco?
This thread is almost completely unrelated
Muay-Thai is tougher than Boxing. I dont need any links to it.. Im doing this sport for 12 years, and this isnt on same level as boxing. Also mma wrestling/bjj/sambo/striking.. all this isnt easy at all. It also depends on how you train.. for example when I lvied in US, I trained MMA.. that just pissed me off.. 100$ for nothing, I did felt tired little bit and thats about it.
Unlike here in Odessa where I train thai for my entire life.. you cant drink during practice, once you are done, i take 10 mins cold showers, go outside nd you can eat adn drink non stop.. . most beginners do that, i wait 1 hr after practice.
idk about other sports but 1 thing for sure is.. Muay-Thai is tougher than Boxing. listen more to fat ass fags that never trained before.. and paste their links here.. . just use your brains homey

It seems like some people here consider MMA gay.How about collegiate and HS wrestling? Those guys are wearing tight ass uniforms and pretty much touching each other everywhere.Would you guys consider that gay?
