Why is Mayorga going to mma?

I heard he has some issues with Don King.

if you are even a C-level boxer, you can dominate MMA with ease from what I've seen. I've seen heavyweights who look like they would get out boxed by Cliff Ettiene win big fights in MMA. Look at Mir's fight with Noguiera lol A BJJ black belt with sub-par boxing beating a competent striker who just got over really bad staph infection. Nice example.

Because he wants to prove he can take straight shots to the dome without flinching while getting choked out and twisted into a pretzle until the referee rips his opponent off of his neck because he's not responding to the ref's questions.

I think he will be a beast in MMA

because he's a 'name' boxer and i'm sure he's making enough $ to justify fighting in MMA. I don't think he's done as a boxer either as he can still make $ in boxing. I wouldn't be surprised if Ricardo does both.

Cause MMA has now become a retiring home for all types of athletes where they can play. exactly. pre-professional weastler, retired football player are huge resource for MMA.
