who would you pick as your Promoter?
Me: I would go with dibella.....
well established company very underrated in my oppinion. lou always manage his way to get his fighters good paydays & titleshots, in a very short time....
paulie, berto, quintana are good examples.....
who would you sign with???
but i assume they get paid or a big signin bonus that u might not get with other companies... so.. for the fighters i beleive that will make it up for the long waiting between fights.. dont know... :dunno:....
I think that if you already have a buzz with you. .some background... olimpics amateurs, shits like that.... if you already have the buzz with you and are signing pro... the best option should be the BIG COMPANY...
if not.. the small ones.. should be the way to go... im felling your point of view....
Not all the 0-0 kids get paid the big signing bonuses. Unless the kid is an Olympian or is already built he usually will receive a modest bonus or nothing at all.
Thompson would be a good one as Earner alluded and also Prize Fight. These companies host monthly series that keep fighters busy. Prize Fight promotes on a minimum 20-25 shows every year and has been successful at building the careers of Lamont Peterson, Anthony Peterson, Fernando Guererro, Shawn Porter, Rayonta Whitfield, Ivan Hernandez and many others.

bob arum or frank warren...f*ck don king the snake "peeleft:
DBE is good at developing young talent in that they still have local off TV shows to have their young fighters occupy. Thats how Paulie got to where he is.
TR more and more concerns me due to the fact that they seem to have taken the route GBP has in waiting for TV slots to come up for their fighters which limits the amount of fights their fighters have
GBP hasnt had an off TV card in years so their fighters are sorely limited by that

because both tend to be crowded with talent and with fewer and fewer fight dates it would be hard getting fights
I know quite a few fighters from both and they all have the same issue which is jockeying for the few slots on cards they both have.
honestly if I were a young prospect I would choose the local route first, establish a nice hometown base, and develop a groundswell of interest much like Fernando Guerrero and Tim Bradley have done.
sounds odd but a promoter like Thompson Boxing Promotions is somewhere I would look as they have monthly shows, great attendance for their shows, have two world champions now (Tim Bradley and Yonnhy Perez).
thanks for sharing man!!! btw happy new year!!!
i got to be honest, if I had the chance i would still pick TR... if not... dibella... but what u saying makes sense.. so.. good option buddy :fing02:
^^ im pretty sure.... u would sing with TR or GB in a blink of an eye...... if u had the chance...
why u wouldnt???

I got a different option for you. I would go with Prize Fight Promotions. They have built the careers of both Peterson Brothers, Shawn Porter, Fernando Guerrero, Rayonta Whitfield, Ivan Hernandez and others. They have promoted many high profile fights such as Tyson/Lewis, Tyson/Etienne, RJJ/Johnson, Lewis/Klit, Johnson/Tarver, Taylor/Wright and Taylor/Spinks.
It seems from looking at their stable that they know how to take a fighter from 0-0 and build him quickly. They promote a lot of shows every year and always seem to get the fighter to a world title shot.

I would probably go with Shaw because he gets a bunch of Showtime dates so I could get a bunch of extra exposure on Shobox and his undercards for Championship boxing, plus he also gets some HBO dates.
Dibella and Goosen Tutor are also pretty good companies.
Yea that is why I would pick Shaw as well...
