I was thinking yesterday that if they do end up salvaging the Pac/Mayweather fight and Floyd goes on to fight him and ends up losing he will have a built in excuse 'That Pac is guilty because he didnt take the tests'.
Now I for one dont believe Pac is cheating but how is it going to make him look after all this? He will honestly look guilty to the average person who doesnt know whats going on. There is a huge scene about it before the fight and Pac resuses to take the tests, then he ends up destroying Mayweather. I think people will ask questions.
How do you feel about this? Do you think it would be smart on Mannys side to just take them and shut Floyd up?
I want honest opinions. No Flomo or Pactard perspectives please.
To the average fan pac is guilty no matter what if he doesn't take the tests. If he wins he was on peds, if he loses it is gonna be look what happens when he doesn't get to take peds, and if he fights someone else it will be see he is avoiding the tests because he is dirty. You cannot neglect any kind of drug testing and look clean. Pac's team really f'd this up. It doesn't matter how ridiculous the testing is pac has to agree or he looks guilty, it may not be fair but neither is life.
But what if the Mayweather camp actually believed Manny was juicing and thats why they asked for it?
I wholeheartedly believe when Sr. originally said what he said he believed what he said.(even if it was Sr. dumbass)
Theres no way to know what camp Mayweathers intentions were. More than likely they figured Manny would take the Olympic style tests. When he didnt they used it to their advantage.....
Oh well, Paulie-Pac tix will be way cheaper when we're there.:boxing:
I suppose, but who want's to having anything to do with a business like that?

In an ideal world, you'd be right. But money talks. People will break bread with the devil if it means making a shit load of money.
Pac's showing maybe not...
This is pretty much why this was a terrible battle to pick. Once someone says no to the stricter drug testing it just opens up a whole can of worms for people to nit pick about.
As far as I can tell the only way to win this battle is to have not fought it but even if they fight and have the strictest drug testing, unless Manny looks like the fighter he has been (which would be very tough considering the type of fighter Floyd is) question will still be there or if the fight with normal drug testing and Manny beats the shit out of Floyd the question would still be there.
You can say it is wrong or unethical or whatever but this only really became such a huge issue because Manny said no in the first place.
Pretty much what Im getting at.

The only way Pac would look guilty is if Floyd knocks him out. Because if he was able to take Cotto's blows then he surely can take Soft Hands Mayfeather. But with or without PED's, Mayfeather isn't knocking anyone out.
What sense does this make?
How am I justifying it? I said it was wrong if that was their intention.
Its smart business for Floyd to set himself up for an excuse or at least a rematch if he loses.
Has it crossed your mind that team Mayweather might actually believe that Pac is juicing?

How can you say it's not right, but it's smart? Why justify something that's clearly wrong? Such a B move.

Agreed.

People will see right through the "Sour-Grapes" of any foul play accusations that Mayweather may stoop low to make. Fans aren't stupid. The "smart" ones will realize that all the BS Pretty Boy has been feeding fans for years is just empty rhetoric. He'll eventually be just a footnote in the annals of boxing history as the "Self-Proclaimed Champion of All Time." JAT

Please only post about real stuff not "your fantasy world" and "dreamed up scenarios".
The world is stupid. Fans are stupid. Look at yourself, you cant even take your eyes off Pacs dick for a second to even "Consider that people might think its a possibility that hes juicing".
Yes, it will grow... because they'll water it. God, can you imagine how many excuses Floyd would have if he lost to anybody much less Pac? It sucks because ultimately the headlines would read "Pacquiao beats Mayweather, Mayweather cries foul". There would always question as to the legitimacy of the win, directly impacted from Team Mayweather.

He may have a case against Sr. or Pauli but Jr. or GBP hasnt accused him of anything. They just asked him to take more tests.
Agree. He may be just lumping them all together and suing everyone. But Floyd Sr. is the real culprit.
They pulled a Dennis Rodman on Pacquiao. What they did was dirty, but it seems to be working. Even if they are later found liable, the damage is already done.
Personally I think he should take the tests, but then again I'm not Pacquiao. Pacquiao has every right to refuse the tests. He has never tested positive for any banned substance, whether it's PEDs, Lidocaine, diuretics, nothing, nada, zilch.
He WILL look guilty to the general public especially if he wins, even if he is actually innocent. All the more reason to go through with the defamation case, as that may constitute "damages."
But the damage is already done. Even if he agrees to take the tests vs. Floyd and passes, his critics will say "well, he didn't take the blood tests against any of his previous opponents, so he must have cheated against them." He's been put in a no win situation by Floyd Sr.'s slander. All the more reason to go through with the defamation case.

The Pacman should stay the course with standard testing, go into the fight and destroy Mayweather then take all the blood tests that GBP and Mayweather want. If this will not satisfy these speculators, then that will be their problem. The Pacman wins all the way around. JAT
I said no Pactards please and who shows up? The worst Pac cum-guzzler there is.
Obviously you dont know whats going on because if Pac took "all the blood tests that GBP and the Mayweathers want" after the fight the whole Mayweather point and argument is valid- That he didnt take the olympics style tests.
Move along now. :pat:
