Most people thought he had no chance of defeating George Foreman, but he wins by KO. There is something suspicious about that, and his other wins as well...
In hindsight, perhaps Big George should have demanded Ali have Olympic-style testing! Ali's other opponents like Frazier should have as well...
Without performance-enhancing substances, would Ali have been successful?
I think Pacquiao could be on PCP. Increased Power, speed, and punch resistance sounds alot like PCP, I've seen a guy under the influence of PCP lift a car, get shot in the chest and keep coming at the cops. Shit James Brown was on PCP when he outran and outsmarted the cops for 15 miles down a dirt road.
What else could he have done? Tried to fight a technical chessmatch with Ali? He did what he does best, bum rush his opponent. Probem is he was fighting a master.
He could've not thrown wide swinging bombs and leave himself as open down the middle as a three dollar hooker.
He could've paced himself better. He says he was simply following his corner's instructions, but then again, he also implied that his corner drugged him (and hired some of those same people twenty years later).
He fell in love with his power. He didn't always fight like a mummy.
A lot of athletes MAY have been on something.
There's only so much that testing can catch.
I'd like to add that Foreman fought like a moron in Zaire.

Oh yes yet another example of the black man getting special treatment
Why, do you think it's because of racism against Asians?
Or is it just special treatment for American-born fighters?
According to the Gayweathers argument. Any great athlete who can do things that goes beyond the normal norms in the sport is on Peds/Steroids. Maybe those boxer's in the ATG's list are all juice up because they too have not undergone Olympic-style drug testing and what they have accomplished are beyond normal norms?! Can anyone justify this?
There has been zero proof that Ali was on any steroids so why even bring this up?
There has been zero proof that Manny Pacquiao was on any steroids, so why bring THAT up?
Why do you think it's fair to question Pacquiao, but it's not fair to question Ali?
Is that a double standard?

Vitali has been found guilty of taking steroids so it is fair to question him.
Incidently why not start this thread under your main Carnivore account?
How did Ali, who had previously been knocked down and almost out by the smaller Henry Cooper, manage to take those punches from Big George?
There are PEDs that would have helped him to take Foreman's shots.
He wasnt landing every power punch he threw. Did you watch the fight or did you watch the Ali movie where they made look like a worse beaten than it was? Ali was slipping alot of those punches. He was also blocking alot of those punches and countering. Foreman wasnt use to being hit like that much. He was spend from prolly round 4 on. You can see he was gased from throwing so many punches. Maybe Henry Cooper took something extra if he was so much smaller than Foreman ever think of that?
Punchers - Shavers,Lyle,Mac Foster,Martin and a washed up Sonny Liston.
Sonny Liston? Do you have any info on the circumstances. Was Liston his mandatory?
Exactly....
David Haye should ask for blood testing................for Wlad.
As we discovered in 2009, David Haye is too cowardly to fight a Klitschko.
Well,Foreman was the first and only puncher that Frazier ever stepped in the bring with.Frazier and his team spent his entire career avoiding punchers due to a lack of confidence in his chin. When you spent so long avoiding something, eventually it will come back to bite you on the backside.
Who did frazier duck?
Steroids don't improve your punch resistance.
But that what the Mayweathers and Maligfaggi are saying about Pacquiao, and some slimey boxing writers/commentators like Rosenthal and Kellerman have mentioned it too.
Mayweather Sr claims the use of PEDs enabled Manny to "walk through" Cotto's punches.
There werent the PED's that are available today as 60 or 70 years ago. In those days, loaded gloves were considered the most likely way to cheat.
PEDs were available in the 70s, though.
