Lets perform random blood tests on all fighters from this point forward (especially high profile fighters). I don't like the issue of Manny being singled out. This should be global.
Lets root out the weeds and let the chips fall where they may.
Dean he was singled out by his opponent :) , Manny has no case , because a fighter risks being killed , Floyd has every right to ask for the most accurate testing protocol in insuring his opponent is clean and its a fair fight , he has that right ,, again Floyd takes the same tests so Manny has not a leg to stand on , for 40 mill and the magnitude of this fight superstition wont cut it my friend .
And Manny has the right to use the NSAC tests only if he so decides. Its perfectly legal and has been acceptably to Floyd in every other case. Floyd has already claimed this will be an easy fight for him so your claims of risks of being killed are pretty moot. Every fighter takes these risks. Why is Floyd NOW demanding a tougher test for a so called easy fight? Personally it seems to me he's looking for a way out.
I agree the Olympic protocol should be implemented into mainstream combat sport including boxing MMA etc , other sports people win and lose combat sports people die .
It should, but it needs to be put in motion under the right circumstances and after they work out all the details.

Makes far too much sense, Dean. It'll never work!
Merry Christmas / Happy Boxing Day.

The solution is Manny needs to man up and take the test. It's not like Floyd isnt willing to undergo the same test or he didnt agree to Team Pacquiao's demand of paying 10 million for every pound he comes in overweight.
Manny "Violate the sacred vows i made with my wife during marriage" Pacquiao is obviously hiding something.
SO UR A CERTIFIED FLOYD FAN,IL TEL YA,WHEN THE FIGHT HAPPEN UR IDOL WILL KEEP ON RUNNI'N ALL NIGHT LONG CO'Z HES' AFRAID OF PACMAN PUNCH! POOR CHICKEN FLOYD! LOL!!!:ugh::boxing::smashfrea
As nice as this sounds, it would be suicide for boxing to do this. Can you imagine the repercussions on boxing if some of its biggest stars and money makers were given lifetime bans?
I agree something needs to be done, but it needs to be sat down and thought about first.
Even one year bans would be sufficient. Lifetime bans should only be implemented when caught more then once.
Now you see where I am coming from. See I find these blatant accusations against Manny just wrong, but if it was spread across the board and forced on everyone, then there is no finger pointing.
Agreed. They need to formulate some kind of official policy first.
Im with you make them all take it...
Do it like Baseball....
1 Positive test...year ban.
2 Positive Tests...LIFETIME Ban.
Sport Cleaned Instantly

Manny isnt singled out.......Floyd is also taking THAT same test.
I know Floyd is taking the test also, but Manny was singled out. I think it should be mandatory for all high profile fights. Having accusations like this hurt the sport. So make it mandatory and the sports reputation improves.
I personally think there are many out there who break the rules when given a chance, so why not make it more even handed?
