If someone using PED all their athletic career and they stop taking it, what will happen to their body? Does the body need it to maintain its performance? Or the body will be weak and not have the same speed and movements?
Just a straight forward questions, no bullshit. Just wanna know the answer.
If you can train harder, recuperate faster, heal better in training - does that help you in a fight?
You can train harder then your opponent, more, and you are healthier... That would certainly help you.
certainly, the harder you train; the easier the fight will be. But training is not only about healing, train harder than your opponent, be more ready for the fight, thats only half of it. The other half, is the actual fighting. You train for your opponent, find weaknesses, work on gameplans, improve your skillset such as the basics, footwork, combinations, dodging, and more. Sure you can be healthier than your opponent on fight night, but if you cant apply properly what you have to do, you wont be healthier than your opponent for too long. I dont think PED will help you there.
What certain PEDs you think can help a boxer though? I think HGH cant really help a boxer though, HGH wont really improve your athletic capabalities. The only thing i can think of how HGH to benefit a boxer is the faster recuperation for faster healing and for training purposes but in the actual fight???? And for steroids, yeah it suits baseball players but for boxers? Muscle cant really help you, yeah sure it can give you more power, but for what cost? your speed? Speed and timing for me are the most essential thing for a boxers to have.

Depends on where you fight, on commision.
I know in Nevada they test after the fight, especially main eventers. I don't know if they test other time, they probably do?!
In California they will test you sometimes when you apply for license, there are random tests, after the fight.
I think all those tests are urine samples.
There is bunch of PED's, depends on what they are trying to accomplish with them. More muscle, better revocery etc.
I don't know a lot about PED's, some basics and that's it.

When does boxers mostly take PED, when they are training right? And when does the boxing's normal testing start? Boxer's train maybe 3 months max, in all those three months how many time do they tested and when? And how many weeks or days is the last testing prior to the actual fight?

And for example in a week or two weeks, how long is the interval between the intake of PED in such given time? In other words with every dose of PED, how long till the effect wear off, and another dose should be administered? Is it like any drug to be taken when the effect run out? If so how long is it for the PED? Or is PED a subtance to take just once, and no re use in a period of time? If so how long? Basically the debate around here is the time on when should the testing shoud be made and to answers all this question should really help me understand more what is going on.
Im sorry for all the question though, but it need answer. I know alot about boxing, but I sure do is naive about all this stuff. I sure think alot people are the same also. Any answers fellow posters?
It depends when was the last time he used them and when the PBF fight is taking place. Let say he last used them in december and the Floyd fight is in march, if that is the case his performance won't suffer much but if he did the same thing fight after fight and followed the cycles he might feel some side effects. Like getting a bit more tired the normal etc, but am sure it would not be much of a problem if he trains as hard or harder than he did when he was using them.

Same question.
Cause Crackhead Sr. said so?
Last time I checked Crackhead Sr. wasn't associated to any Boxing Commission or Drug testing agency for his accusations to be taken so seriously.
If the Pac-May fight falls through, the blame rests solely on Crackhead Sr's shoulders.
This thread is not for accusing PAC of any wrong doing, Im asking a honest question with no underlying agenda. I just wanna know the answer.
The benefits will not quickly disappear if you keep working out the same way you did while you were on ped's but once you get older it will become harder to sustain the benefits if you stopped using it completly. In the end yeah you won't be the same but that is why many stop using it for a while and then start again when they need it.
Well, for example PAC's body at the peak of its potential. He wont need to use it anymore PED like other here is saying he's doing. But still train for PBF vigorously like he used to, and without the drugs. You think he's performace will be dramatically decrease?
Pacquiao is link to this now, but Im not saying he is guilty of the accusations. He's not yet found positive by any drug test, so in my eyes he's still innocent.

There are different PEDs,each has its own withdrawal symptoms.Being weak could be for other PEDs and for those who train. Also people can withdraw by substituting. You get off something dirty and take a legal supplement to reduce negatives.
What exactly are you trying to get at
You should lead a campaign to the NSAC...
When I ubruptly stopped taking it some withrawal symptoms show up. It made me very weak and sleepless. You should stop it gradually in a period of 1 year or more depending on doctors order.
Is the weakness temporary or permanent? For example if the rumors are true that PAC used PED, he stop using it. Will his body retain the normal speed and movement when he didnt use it? Or the body just go down and wont be back to normal?
This is a boxing forum, not a steroid FAQ.
You want reliable info on steroids and HGH? Go to the MMA forums.
As you know steroid and boxing are link nowadays, so if you talk about steroid here, you talking about boxing also.
I spoke to someone on Youtube about HGH and he had told me that he was on that stuff and he became very weak after he was off of it.
became very weak? so basically, back to normal right? You will be like what you are before you used it? Or your body will be weaken badly, that will lose your previous movement, and it will never the same again?
