Didnt the Khan-Barrera fight seem awfully similar to Chavez-De La Hoya I?

I mean from the cut, to the ending, to the fact that Barrera was a Mexican legend like Chavez, to Khan's physical advantages being similar to Oscar's at the time. Everything seemed like a replay to me from the first Oscar and Julio fight. What do you guys think? Khan doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence as the Golden boy.

Yeah I won a bit of money on this one on the 5th round stoppage. I knew Barrera would be cut. But yeah it was unfair for Barrera, especially since Warren made sure the fight went over 4 before he started nagging to the ref to stop the fight from the crowd. But a rematch would probabaly be closer to Oscar Chavez II lol

no cause khan cheated to get 4 rounds under his belt cause they knew it would be a NC if stopped earlier. they could have stopped it in the first the cut was the same. they could have stopped it in the 2nd the cut was the same. they could have stopped it in the third the cut was the same. they could have stopped it in the 4th the cut was the same. when the 5th round came then they suddenly stopped it when it was the same. if they really cared about his safety they would have stopped it immediately. anything to get a win i guess. chavez was cut by punches not a headbutt. chavez was also fighting in his natural weight division where barrera had to move up. not similar at all.
