Hell, most pro fighters cant even win a round against them. . .
Wlad and Vitali are both TOP 10 ALL TIME GREATS. Wither you like it or not, no one can beat them right now.
I still remeber when Tyson was on his prime,
his trainer, Angelo Dundee was asked on how to stop Tyson,
and Dundee replied:
“Better get a Gun!”
On Klitschko Bros. Well, just wait a little longer, for them to get older with tired weary bodies and then fight them!
Or, let them fight each other!
I like vitali but lenox lewis was doing damage with every punch
had it continued he would be blind it was not head butt that caused that either his face was a mess like he was beat with a bat
he put up a good fight but was being broken apart at the same time
Vlad is a more talented fighter but he just doesn't have the heart like his brother, so can never be placed among the upper echelons of those who have fought in the heavies.
Why so? He's fought longer than Vitali, has had more fights in total, has faced every challenger and champion placed in front of him, and has taken lots of "0"s.
I don't see what's so heartless about that.
Vitali is an ATG imo. He has one hell of a heart and chin on him, whilst he doesn't really have the skills he'd still be a major threat to anyone because he's not getting knocked out.

Haye won't be getting into a ring with either until they cut him a decent deal. Anyone who doubts that he doesn't have the speed and power to worry both is deluding themselves imo.
Naw, seriously, I'm not singling you out. Honest. I've said it before elsewhere, anyway - that people mentioned it within this topic only served to remind me of my disdain for such lists.
With that said, I have no negative views of either Klitschko... they do their job. If you earn your title shot you will get it... and I respect that.
I am replying to the opening post in which he stated they are top 10 ATGs.
You don't have to make it obvious you are singling me out.

Ugh. People always have to ruin a good present day boxing discussion with this P4P/ATG shit. :conf3:
I'm not singling anyone out in this instance - rather, just making a point in general about how it is around here. I find it irritating, and much prefer to think of individual match-ups and the fighters themselves, than go through the effort of ranking them within some hypothetical/statistical ATG list. It means nothing in that ring.

Lennox was too scared to give Vitaly a rematch.
Or, more plausibly, he realised that Vitali was a younger and hungrier fighter who had his number that night. Hence, what would've been the point in Lennox granting him a rematch, only to get destroyed and/or hurt if he felt he didn't have it in him to fight anymore? There's no justification for it, other than to appease Vitali for a so-called moral victory.
I don't know if I'd put them so high. Head to head, sure, they are Top10. I can't name more than five ATG fighters who would hand them their butt.
But, if I look at their resummee, I can't see Top15 or better. Vitali needs to retire for Wlad to rule alone.
And, as much as I like Vitali, I still think Lennox beat him. Lennox was punished for four rounds, then he woke up, and TKOd Vitali. I still think a well-trained, motivated prime Lennox beats Vitali 6-7 out of 10 times. A Manny Steward trained Wladimir is almost impossible to beat; Lennox would struggle but still win most of the fights.
I got no problems with admitting that Lennox beat Vitaly or putting Lennox ahead of Vitaly based on records but what I do have a problem is with people saying crap like "a shot old Lewis took the fight on two-week notice and destroyed Vitaly". I think that had the Dr. not stopped the fight, it might have turned out differently and that Lennox was too scared to give Vitaly a rematch. Also, it's Vitaly who took the fight on short notice and who, based on the number of surgeries and injuries and his kick-boxing career, had a much more shop-worn body than Lewis did. Lennox is ahead of both brothers right now but Wlad has the chance to surpass him if he 1) unifies 2) comes close or beats Holmes record
the thing is and everybody will agree with me
that at the end of the day, wlad will be in front of vitali on the all- time lists, i love both brothers, and think there great fighters
but wlad has the better resume, and will have the better legacy
anyone agree, or disagree
Agreed. But people will always prefer to remember Vitali as "That mean dude who knocked everyone out", even though he doesn't have as many strong names of which to boast.
Either way, I tend not to have as much preference for the other as I used to. I enjoy watching their fights equally for different technical reasons - Vitali throws a lot and doesn't care much for stylistic elegance, yet is highly entertaining to watch because of his clever awkwardness; whereas Wladimir is patient with his KO-ready punches and has perfected a craft of boxing in which every punch is like a piece of art.
Vitaly and Wlad are both around 9 and 10 ATG HWs, respectively. But they are not even done yet, it's probably too late for Vitaly to go up the rankings (unless he beats Foreman's age record). Wlad, if he has another 6 victories against top contenders, he is going to move up for sure. Maybe even make it into top 5 if he gets to 25 consequitive defenses but thats 12 more fights (I think), which would mean another 5 years of fighting, I am not sure he wants to box until 39.
Haters can blame the weak era, that all the US athletes (code word for specific color) are playing badminton or golf or whatever... The Klitschkos are putting up stats previously unseen and breaking records right and left, that alone gets them in the top 10. H2H, Vitaly is the GOAT....

Nope, they ain't getting beat by anyone. There isn't a single HW around today who can knock the brothers off their lofty perch atop the division.
They make me proud to be a boxing fan.

If you do not think the heavy weight division is at an all time low in talent, your nut hugging even the self proclaimed super star Challengers are average at best. And The Klits wont even fight those posers WTF. RIP. HeavyWeight division its been fun.
