Which one would you take: Being the GOAT or 50 million dollars
Assume you are boxer A. There are two fights available. One with boxer B and the other boxer C.
If you beat boxer B, you will be considered as the greatest fighter of all time and no one will ever question you for ever.
The other fight is with boxer C, beating him would be considered as a good win, nothing more. However, you will pocket 50 million dollars straight up.

Hmmm...
Similar to this?
Pac vs. Pavlik - for the GOAT
or
Pac vs. Mayweather - for the money
I'll take the $50 million.

the money....
there's no such thing as "ppl not questioning you.."
no matter what sport you're in, or what you do, you will always be compared to somebody else....even if there are no athletes to compare you with during your time, rest assured 20 years later somebody else great will come along, and they'll question whether or not you could've beaten them.
the money, if you spend it wisely, will take care of your family for generations...that's most important to me.

are you saying that the fight to be GOAT pays nothing??? if GOAT is on the line for said fighter, surely there would be a great financial reward for that fight as well... say 30 mil or so
need more details
50 million, tax free? I'll take the 50 million.
Why risk my health for money if I can just get the money? Fame doesn't pay the bills, look at Joe Frazier, or Joe Louis for that matter.

I've never seen 1 fight give any fighter immortal fame and the GOAT status. GOAT is an based on opinion, no one fighter will ever be considered the GOAT without someone else thinking otherwise.
GOAT.
If you've fought to that level, you'll be rich.
Money will come with greatness.
The agenda here is transparent as hell.

Clearer than mountain spring water
$hit 1 million is good enough for me,I'm not greedy!!So if I was a millionaire already, immortal fame would be my choice honestly!!Imagine whenever people talk about the goat, having ur name mentioned in every discussion is priceless!!
Being the GOAT is allways gonna be a matter of opinion tho.
i would take the 50 million for obvious reasons, and then your able to take care of all your family. for me tht would be more satisfying than any status, just to know their futures would be better and the freedom and choices that money allows them.
Depends...
If you want money but choose not to test yourself in a fight that can earn you loads and loads of money anyway? Just be a financial consultant...
I understand the business of Boxing and choosing the best fights that are the most lucrative, but at the end of the day it is Prize "Fighting". If you're at the level of a Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao, you've got no choice but to fight the best because the public demands it. In sports in general, fame and money go hand in hand.
SRR, Tyson, Joe Louis, all ended up in financial trouble after or during their careers. No question! You won't even be considered GOAT until you were long gone from the sport or dead.
the money. **** fame that's too scary.
One interesting note, Ricky hatton took home 16-18 MILLION dollars in the pacquiao fight and he got his ass knocked out in 2 rounds.
He was overpaid. I could do that in ONE round!
PS! Nah, I'd destroy the midget.
