Floyd was in the 4th or 5th row of that fight too.....I think he won a "Boat" load of money off of Pac.....
yeah i heard floyd put money on pac.
don't know if it's true though.
i don't think floyd like morales. there might have been some animosity in the past between them. not sure.
the body work took a lot out of morales.
i remember in the 1st fight he hurt morales to the body in the early rounds but then never threw to the body again.
in the rematch , he threw to the body more and it helped wear morales down.
people forget that morales was winning the 1st half of the rematch until he got worn down.

Manny was in his prime.
He just wasn't at his peak.
Fuck the KO losses when he was a kid.
The first Morales fight was Roach's reality check.
Pac has been on a roll ever since.
He literally got taught a boxing lesson, and learned well.
And for good measure, he wrecked Morales twice afterward.
:Thinkingo
I belive that is what you call..."End of Thread"....:usa2:
"Prime" this, "Prime" that...I don't care. Morales teached him (Pacquiao) a lesson. You have to be bias or a 100% hater if you don't give Morales credit for that fight...
Now, what really bothers me is how some of you "fans" call Pacquiao the greatest ever. He's so far from it. Great? Yes he is. I'll give him credit for what he has accomplished in the mid. millenium but you can't compare him to all time greats like Robinson.
Cotto saying Pacquiao is the greatest ever? Of course he does - he would look like a clown if he said he wasn't. And don't forget they're both under Aurum's wings.....
No, Pac was not in his prime.
We should still hold the loss against him,
just as with any other boxer's record.
because of the loss he became a much better fighter, imagine if he would keep winning with his style before, he wont try to improve his skills. we wont see the pacman we see now.
If by not in his prime, you mean he wasn't on steriods yet, then no, he wasnt "in his prime".
God I hate you Pactards...
No disrepect to Pacman, but most of his fans are retarded.
simple question and you get all offended? no proof of pac being on steroids so whos the retard? lol damn
He gets hit more because hes an easier fighter to hit.....JMM never missed him..
Fighters have missed Floyd thisclose to him.....Thats the sign of a fighter with good defense.
so it has nothing to do with pacquiao being offensive?
pacquiao is just easier to hit and his style has nothing to do with it?
you're wrong.
anyone who has boxed knows that you get hit more being on the offensive than being on the defensive for the most part.
let me ask you this.
the few times that floyd hasn't gotten hit flush or stunned or hurt......how many was when he was going forward?
If by not in his prime, you mean he wasn't on steriods yet, then no, he wasnt "in his prime".

if we can then we shouldnt hold the morales lost against him.
What do you mean we should not hold that lost against him?
What kind of logic are you using?:nono: &
How would you rate Pacs ability to not be hit?
if he concentrates on it and being defensive he has the tools.
he has pretty good skills , speed , footwork , timing , etc.
you have to remember that pacquiao gets hit more than defensive boxers because his opponent is always in range.
when you are pressing the action and going forward , you will get hit more than if you are keeping your opponent at a distance and only engaging when it's to your advantage.
well I admit I don't know much about Morales, it don't bother me that Tua corrected me, I truly didn't know that...so FUK YOU faggAVELLIE!
See, I wish most would admit this. This is better then having Lady Fan running around like she knows the sport.
Thanks for the info, i truly did not know this...i was never a fan of his.
go download his fights.
one of the most exciting fighters in recent times.
he was a beast at 122.
he had good skills in his prime but sometimes he just slugged it out for the hell of it.
watch his old fights. you won't be disappointed.
Yeah Pac has evolved into the slickest boxer of all time...
actually pacquiao is pretty slick.
he has some good skills.
people just don't think he does because morons think you have to be a very defensive fighter to be slick.
check out his 1st knockdown of hatton , his 2 knockdowns of cotto , his knockdown of marquez in the rematch , his 1st knockdown of morales in the rubber match.
all those knockdown punches were counterpunches when pacquiao was backing up/defending/dodging punches and threw a perfect counter.
pac was in his prime, he just had the wrong game plan, those were the days when all he did was attack and he thought Morales was done because of the losses to Barrera, and because he lost his tune up, so Pac thought he would blow Morales away.
1. pacquiao didn't pick his fights back then. muhammad was trying to milk him for all his worth and just put him up against everyone for the most money.
2. morales lost his tuneup to raheem AFTER the pacquiao fight not before.
Finally, where have you been??? lol anyway totally agree with this post.
yeah posts like those are what i was trying to get out. pac was a beast peak or not so my intentions were not to discredit morales' victory. i know morales wasnt at his best when he faced pac for the first time and i know pac wasnt at his best either. the point is we cant compare the pac of then and the pac of now.
I don't think so, boojee. I think it was a learning experience he needed at the time. It was also his first fight at 130 -- not an easy task taking on Morales. We can throw the glove issue into the equation too, but it's a waste of time now. Pacquiao was out-boxed in a close fight, and the best thing about it is it forced him to become a better fighter. There's nothing wrong with losing, it can be a blessing in disguise. The true measure of a great fighter is how he learns from his mistakes.

u know something..
i hope manny leaves the fight against floyd on a damn stretcher..
hahaha
maybe if he passes out through exhaustion from chasing floyd all day long.
floyd will break his hand before he kos pacquiao.
