He looks like he,s stuck in quicksand... Malang hurt him in the 6 rd. And is in full control...good thing juan is attending school because he won,t be boxing long.... Comments???
As everyone else has basically said, no he is not done, he is still a class fighter and can still dominate 135.
Jaun was just flat. He was not fighting his fight or near his normal style. Does anyone remember the "" ahs ahs ahs" crazy sound effects of Diaz? Every time he unloaded a punch he breathed out and made a nice loud noise. Those days where Diaz did that, that's where Diaz was the man. Athletes get flat. I think that of all sports; single or team. Paulie looked decent though.
Ps. Do not become facebook friends with a boxer and post on their comments. Your phone will get destroyed with updates and you will get furious.
People keep saying all he has to do is move down...but he fought a guy that is not that big and is feather fisted.... Just think what a guy with punching power and can box can do against him.
Freitas and Julio were done by that time imo.
Julio had just won the title in a big way, he wasn't close to "done".
You can make the case for Freitas though. And even if Freitas WAS done, it took a fighter like Juan Diaz to prove it.
I don't know if I'd say "finished" Admittedly light punching aggressive fighters don't last long in the business, but he's still young and could rebuild.
It wasn't too long ago that Diaz was making very good fighters like Freitas and Julio Diaz look like pushovers... It's just that it was at a lower weight. And his real weight class, imo.

he's not finished. he needs to go back to 135 lbs.
