Marquez ruined fat boy.

Seriously,any fighter with a hint of technical in them is gonna beat Diaz!!That why he beat Katsidis,because he is a brawler!!Nate was the 1st fighter to show Diaz can't handle strong boxers!!Marquez started slowly & had to adjust to Diaz's aggression,but when he did,Diaz's technical flaws were exposed again!!Paulie is a sound boxer who uses a good jab,with lighting fast handspeed,in truth Paulie already beat him twice!!If Diaz fights with a small brawler he might win again!! I think Nate showed that Diaz is not necessarily a bull. More like a gnat. Naturally boxers will give Diaz problems, but Campbell showed that you can win a rough fight with him because he's a light puncher. Before that he was just wearing guys down left and right.

These two things were evident before Diaz even fought Campbell: He is not a Junior Welterweight. He had not faced a good boxer/mover that could offset his aggressiveness. I don't see how he looks any less skilled or past it. He needs to go to 130 though imo where he will be so much stronger at the weight. Think in hindsght are Diaz and Freitas really that impressive wins? Maybe Baby Bull was just overrated a bit. I'm guilty of it.

no shocker..the guy has been a pro boxer since he was 16 or 17 and i think hes 26 now. and with his style of fighting your bound to fade sometime.

nate beats diaz by decision, in a fight that was not brutal. diaz goes on to beat katsidis and looks impressive. diaz looks good against marquez early but ends up getting knocked out in a brutal war. but nate ruined him. this.....................

Diaz did beat Katsidis after his loss to Campell, so I think there is some truth to this.

Nate Campbell landed over 400 punches on Diaz over those 12 rounds. dont you guys tell me that wasnt a very brutal fight for Diaz. Campbell started the slide for Diaz, and Marquez also certainly took something from him as well.

i like marquez over nate, marquez is onee of my favorite fighters, but nate ruined baby bull.. yall aint giving nate his due.. he took a tough fight to juan, he ruined him physically and psychologically

Not being full-time ruined Diaz. He was doomed from the beginning. Fukk college if you wanna fight you put every one of your eggs into that basket. If you wanna play it safe, you go to college.

He is alright...not world class in my opinion, he is 1 dimensional and very beatable....you can't get by with that style at the top without great power and ability to absorb punishment, and now he cuts so easily. That's right, how could you be a pressure fighter with no power. However he has beaten a few good names and was the top guy at LW for a while.

The thing wwith Campbell is that he beat him on his own game, but the fight was competitive, he was very bothered by the cut, if not he could've been more close. But Marquez took him to deep waters, it was like a reality check for him, he gave him the beating of his life.

also he was never really that good in the 1st place and because of his style is easy to hit. i would say he's pretty good

also Paulie is a pretty underrated Boxer You're right, but he's highly overrated by himself though.

BTW, Diaz is not ruined. Diaz is a natural 130lber. he could probably make 130, but i think that would hurt him, 135 is his best weight, if he's smart he'll go back to 135

also Paulie is a pretty underrated Boxer Plus he has no business at 140 or near it, he should go back to LW.
