It wouldnt be as big of a mismatch as most of you suggest. SRL wasn't that great at mid fight adjustments. I think at 40 and below Floyd win and 47 and up is SRL.
Not great at mid fight adjustments? Tell that to Hearns and Benitez, who both gave Ray fits early on, only to get stopped late. Leonard was a master technician. And Leonard never fought at 140 in his prime, you have some revisiting to do my friend.

leonard could barely lay a finger on FLOYD SR. He would be even more frustrated versus jr whose quicker and has better offense.
Floyd Sr was battered by Leonard throughout that fight, what the hell was you watching?
I know he was a punching bag he got dropped 3 times and stopped. What the hell are these flowmo's watching?
SRL..TKO or KO.., who ever says PBF..clearly does not understand how good SRL was, speed, power, chin, stamina, the guy was the total package in my opinion.
Thanks for all the replys. I honestly cant decide on this one.
Im very surprised Leonard has nearly everyones vote though. Thought it would be much closer
Leonard is faster, bigger and stronger than Floyd. He wouldn't let Floyd take his time and potshot him like he uses to do, Leonard's combos were something else. He would've frustrated Floyd. Leonard by UD.

I might have to agree here..
Floyd Sr. was hanging in there alright and was actually pretty slick vs Leonard. He started to decline in the fight when it was realized he wasn't gaining any advantage, and slowly Leonard started to become dominant.
This said, I think Floyd Jr. is miles ahead of his dad in the skills department.
the best barometer i can think of is the leonard-benitez fight...
leonard-camacho would have been a no brainer but leonard was just too old that time...
i think sugar ray would just edge it but it would be a great fight because they are both fast and would have to stand and fight, still waiting for another boxer with great speed and skill to truly test pbf so the world can see how great he really is and hopefully it could be manny
OMG this moron is comparing an ALL TIME GREAT to a guy who hasn't even fought the greatest in his own division. Floyd is 0-0 against welterweights and you're comparing him to ATG. :asshole:
How long have you been watching boxing?
