Jesus Mary and Joseph!
So now the battle is against Kellerman!
A commentator praises the boxer you don't like and not the boxer you love to hug and you go attacking him!
Facking grow up!
Kellerman's interviewing skills are horrendous. There are a number of better interviewers on YouTube alone and a lot of them are just boxing fans with no formal journalistic training. HBO shouldn't allow Kellerman to interview fighters imo. His commentating is sometimes interesting but often its convoluted and contrived. He should either be restricted to commentary alone, or ideally replaced altogether.

Actually, it has nothing to do with that at all. Kellerman is a joke wether he PRETENDS to praise a boxer I don't like or not. The media is hyping Pac to be something special or as they put it "the third coming" behind of course the almighty joke Hussien "Osama" Obama then Jesus then Pac. Which Pac is obviously not and it is really getting annoying now. Plain and simple I believe Max is a joke along with the President of the United States and Pac.
when max was on espn he use to do this email thing with the fans.
i asked him about pacquiao 7-8 years ago.
he said pacquiao was exciting to watch but nothing special. :lol1:
he also thought larry merchant was nuts for putting pacquiao on larry's top 10 p4p list.
whenever he compliments pacquiao it's probably just a way to tag along marquez's name. :D
Seven years ago Pac only had an IBF title and was fighting guys like Julio. No one knew with any more than a wild guess that hed turn into the fighter he is today.
Well, maybe Freddie, but he's always dreamed big! :boxing:

too bad he's eatig his own crow now :lol1:
well tbf to max , this was before the barrera fight.
back then i thought pac was good but nothing special as well.
Lol! Floyd's going to flip out his own mic when Max says "Back to you, Jim".
Floyd: "So like I was saying before Max hid his mic from me..."
LOL, Ellerbe would bring a loudspeaker and carry Floyd on his shoulders instead.

Would be funny watching Floyd hop up and down trying to reach for the mic like the attention hungry toddler he behaves like. :lol1:

He most likely did. Next time he's going to have a drop down mic in case Floyd tries to grab it again.

He probably threw up in his mouth after reading the script.
Kellerman has Floyd's balls in his mouth.
He might have broke up with Floyd after the Mosley debacle where he learned that they'd played basketball together so I dunno.

Even if you don't like Kellerman, you gotta cut him some slack.
He knows how to hype fighters up. Just doing his job.
He probably doesn't even like Pacquiao.
You guys are crazy. I think Kellerman is probably the best commentator HBO has right now. Calling me crazy? Lampley obviously would be the runner up but he's been making a lot of off calls lately. Besides, Kellerman has thrown out some typical Merchant one liners but without putting you to sleep. J/k, Merchant rocks also, but I honestly have no problem with Kellerman. He shows his passion for the sport in all his broadcasts and he's a new face with energy, someone the team needed. If he takes Lampley spot down the road, it will be in good hands if you ask me.
Max Kellerman is a joke F him, he is Larry Merchants protege. Both of them are the worst announcers on HBO, I mute the fights everytime they are on and commentating.

I am not a commentator. However, if you watch Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant, they seem to do a fine job without going into long, historical comparisons.
Probably you didn't watch the fight between Pacquiao and Cotto.
Lampley, Steward, and Merchant even compared Pacquiao with SRR.
The only way to gauge the best fighter of our era is to compare his accomplishments and skills with the best of the best.
So....
How would you gauge a fighter's boxing skills and accomplishments by pulling info out of your ass?
