Shane Mosley has losses because he fought the best

He is a great fighter no matter what anyone says. despite failing to adapt, he lost to Forrest in the Amateurs and twice in the pro's. He lost to Winky the first time clearly then came just short in the rematch. He made both of the rematches a bit closer but still came out short. I respect him for fighting the best at 147 and not avoiding or dodging anyone and will give ANYONE a good tough fight.

Shane Mosley has losses because he fought the best. No one wanted to fight Winky and Mosley was advised not to fight him but he still chose to fight him. He also took on 6 ft Forrest despite losing to him in the amateurs. Mayweather says he has 5 losses but he has 4 losses to the same guys, both whom would give Mayweather all he could handle stylistically and probably beat him also. That is all.............. I gotta stop you there. The only reason he fought Winky was because he didn't like the deal De La Hoya offered him for a third fight. He was going to fight Mayorga, but Spinks upset Mayorga. So Mosley had no other options because Trinidad still wasn't ready to come out of retirement. People always say he chose Wright, but he had no other options at the time.

He knew williams similar to Forrest and Winky has long reach and height advantages thats why he didnt want to take that fight, Floyd aint tried to fight anyone with as much reach or height as these guys. and also avoided Margarito and Cotto!

Shane is a great boxer and still has a lot of gas.

well in 2002 when Mayweather was barely becoming a lightweight Mosley was @147lbs fighting Forrest and in 2004 when Mosley was fighting . Mayweather was @ 140lbs.... i recall Mayweather after the Brusseles (which was at 140lbs) fight i believe CALLING OUT OSCAR & MOSLEY TO COME DOWN TO 147lbs to fight him.... There is also the notion that every time Shane stepped up, with the exception of DLH 1, he lost. ( I dont count fights where fighters are guilty of using banned substances) Yeah he lost to 2 guys that would of given Mayweather hell aswell, so even though that sounds bad its actually nothing to be ashamed of.

Shane has heart. He challenged himself. I still hope the Pac-PBF winner faces Mosley after, should he beat Berto.

DS did you watch that little advert before Pacquiao-Cotto? In it, Bert Sugar said that when Cotto beat Mosley, he out jabbed one of the bets jabbers in welterweight history.....:lol1: He just paws with it to find his range for the most part.
