If all it takes to destroy an ALL TIME GREAT'S reputation is some toothless crackhead saying "I cannot tell a lie, Pacman did steroids, says I."
:nonono:
I happen to think that many of the top guys are on something. Not roids per say, but they are not the only game in town. Fighters have been able to beat the tests for years while cheating. Carry on...
i think it has something to do with the fact that pacquiao would most likely be considered greater than floyd when its all said and done. it has come to a point where downplaying his accomplishments is not enough for floyd to catch up.
the only way that they can have an argument that floyd is greater if they convince themselves that manny is cheating.
This post is probably the truth.
its very understandable why people may consider that he would use steroids,
even if hes been cleared by the navada athletic commision or what not, they do not test for designer steroids like the ones shane moseley was using until the creator(balco) gets caught
Uh, not without any proof.
I think Pac just became much more tactical in the higher weights.
Yes, he is a better fighter now and keeps improving all the time. The biggest difference though, is that he's cutting far less weight now. Manny hasn't gained much at all for a long time, he just boils down less. All this crap being spouted by the likes of Malignaggi is exactly that -- crap. Pacquiao didn't pack on 20lbs of muscle then go destroying everyone like Paulie suggested. He packed on a few pounds and doesn't weaken himself so much now.
Pacquiao + too much weight loss = bad idea. The only times he's had problems were when cutting too much weight or getting too big for the division.

in all honestly its not really about floyd, theres a bucket list of great fighters whoo could never achieve that, including oscar floyd and even sugar ray robinson, its just that 99 times out of a 100 you dont carry punching power well up weight classes, and that is very well known in boxing, or else youd have the likes of someone like tommy hearns fighting heavyweight, paul williams fighting light heavy weight or b hop doing the same, its not because they dont want to, and its not like they arent given the same nutrition and training ecetera, so its either that pacquiao is a boxing anomaly or that hes juicing like many other boxers
Wasn't Arguello still KO'ing guys at 140? He came from lower weight classes from the 120s and carried his power quite nicely.
I was wondering, is it harder for somebody like Pacquiao who was between a lightweight/JWW to jump to WW as oppose to say Paul Williams going to heavyweight or Bernard Hopkins going to cruiserweight? Honest question.

I don't think it's purely about Pac being stronger as he puts on more weight, because he actually has not put on as much weight from SFW up. Against Marquez, he weight at 147; against Cotto, reports say he weighed 149.
I think Pac just became much more tactical in the higher weights. He is making use of his awkward combos and nimble feet such that he can hit opponents from angles that they don't see, and against which they are unable to protect themselves. If you read between the lines in the Oscar and Cotto interviews, that's what they both said: they lost by TKO because he kept blindsiding them. Same with the punches that floored Hatton in the first and third KD's.
floyd said it himself, he too, weighed 106 when he was 16 and he looks noticeably bigger than pac, he's on steroids too then.
henry armstrong was also on steroids, what other explanation is there? what? he's just that damn good? lol yeah right??

That's the truth right there.
Exactly how I feel. The amount of people who just know that Pacquiao is on steroids is staggering. They don't know squat, possibly about anything and yet they rant, often with blisteringly ignorant justifications, about how it's impossible for Pacquiao to do what he has done without steroids. Bullshit. For someone to stand trial there has to be at least some evidence of the crime*.
*For the benefit of the idiots out there who don't know the definition of the words 'evidence' and 'fact', repeating Pacquiao's achievements and saying you think it's impossible doesn't count.
They're cases where it is valid. However, they're has not been a shred of evidence to support Mayweather Sr.'s claim. Pacquiao must be on some sweet juice or just cycling it out of his body before the fight happens. We need random tests, mang. But seeing the fight is only 4 months away, it kind of takes away from Team Pacquiao using anything suspicious if the cycles go over the urine test day.
A lot of guys have been busted in recent times for roids suspicion is inevitable.
Just because black athletes uses steroids doesn't mean a hardworking asian man from a 3rd world country does too.
PAC never tested positive for steroids.
