I'm not tryin to start any flame wars.Martinez-Williams had one great fight last night.
but with that being said has the blue print to beating William's been laid out?
With stationary opponents Paul's output-work rate is amazing. But with a fighter who has great movement, and wont just stand in front of him, gives him loads of trouble imo (Quintana,Martinez)
His output seems to disappear a little.
I just want you're thoughts

Only southpaws. Has to do with Williams lack of an extensive amateur background.
Go to any amateur show where two southpaws face off. They are some of the best fight out there because neither guy knows how to block punches coming from a southpaw.
There is certainly good material for any smart middleweight boxer who can take 100 punches being swung at them each round for 12 rounds and land enough back to either win the rounds or hurt Williams. Do I think there is any boxer at Middleweight smart enough to be able to use that material? Apart from Sergio Martinez, No.
The only other boxers who stand a chance against Williams are power punchers who can end a fight with one punch like Pavlik. Although fighters like Pavlik don't know how to read blueprints, so they'll just get into the ring and do what they always do.
A razor sharp left handed fighter that is strong with constant movement will give Paul Williams a good schooling. Big body shots will really break his tall body then head hunting follows. Stretcher and medic can come in later.
thanx Dan nice breakdown.

to answer youre queston yes the blueprints been laid out,but now someone has to follow it.
Hey thanks for showing that people forget how easily schooled Williams was when he met Quintana in their first meeting. Too bad neither Martinez nor Quintana had the pop to lay Williams out but the blueprint has already been established.
Peace.
You need to be Martinez to win.
not true my man (no homo) watch the Paul Williams-Carlos Quintana 1 fight again homey
