now dont get me wrong this is a match made in heaven with roach helping khan with is defence and improving him making him fight to a game plan!!!
BUT
if khan was so impressed with roach why did he choose that columbian idiot who trained him for presscot?????
if roach was so good why did he snub him??? i assume the reason was roach would not train in britain he would only train him in vegas but haye has told khan that he has to move there for the best sparring
i just get annoyed by khan because he talks like he knows it all but he was so wise he snubbed roach 1st
Firstly, the guy is Cuban not Columbian. Secondly, he only really spent a couple of hours with each of the trainers. He went to both Mayweathers, Roach, McGirt, and Rubio and spending your time with so many different coaches can often confuse you. Rubio was also the last trainer he visited, so on his journey back to UK, he probably remembered Rubio's tricks and training methods better than the other guys. Like Ryn0 said, he wanted his camp to be in UK not in USA and since Rubio trained the Cuban Olympic team and all that, he went with a guy who he thought would be pretty good, lower fees etc. Also he probably didn't want his trainer to be bigger than he was? I was pissed off when he picked Rubio over Roach though lol.
There are many reasons, because he didn't want to have camp overseas due to family or whatever. Because the other guy may have been cheaper.
and I believe the guy that trained him for the Prescott fight also trained Mario Kindelan, who beat Khan twice. Khan may have thought "this guy knows what my flaws are and will correct them" etc
yeah but he has never tried any pro fighter before that columbian its just khan talks shit like he is the man because he is with roach, but for fvck sake he snubbed him first time up so maybe he aint the wise man he makes himself out to be!!!
well why did he not go with him the first time he went out there
roach gave him one on one time but no he went with that columbian guy WHY
answer that instead of answering something i never asked

He didn't 'snub' Roach. It's not as if Roach exactly needs to tout for business, or is able to take on every fighter who wants to employ his services.
