154,10z gloves demands explained.

If this is true, Im thinking Its maybe Floyds way of countering any demands from Team Pac for the fight to be at a weight lower than 147. If he asks for 154, then he can compromise to come down to 147. If he asks for 147 initailly then it will be harder for him to get that actual weight. Just like when a car salesman prices a car 5k more then what he'll actually sell it for.If he drops 5k off the car right in front of you , youre proably gonna feel like you got a deal.

I think Floyd motive is really the 10oz gloves. Any fight above 147 has to be 10oz gloves mandatory. He figures he goes with the 154 weght limit and 10oz gloves. I am sure it's true, but I'm also sure it was simply a negotiating start point, not a demand. The way Roach said it meant to me that it was just one of those things they were negotiating around, not "Floyd demands this or the fight is off". People are reading too much into one simple sentence and overreacting.

All 147 fights have to be fought with a 10 ounce glove in Vegas so if the fight Happens in Vegas they both have to wear 10 ounce gloves.

Could be the case... Floyd's team and Golden Boy aint stupid...they know Pacquiao would never take this fight at 154... And I question if this is actually true...not everything BoxingScene has claimed is ALWAYS true...
