If Pacquiao fights Mayweather in March...

the only problem I see for MARCH is I wont be able to watch the fight in the cinema back home...

I think Pacquiao is making a mistake. He needs two extra months to recover and prepare properly, then there could be no excuses. March = too early. May = would be fine. Recover from what? No disrespect, but you act as if Pacquiao took the beating Sam. Yeah he took some hard shots but nothing he has to "rest" from. Pac was fine after the fight and he'll be ready in March. Pacquiao took more punishment against Marquez and he came back OK.

I don't know why people keep bringing Pac being able to fight Foreman in March but not Mayweather. There is no logic there. Foreman is no Mayweather. Pac would be ready to fight someone like Foreman in March, that doesn't mean hes going to be ready to fight someone like Mayweather. So the next logical question is..why did Roach come out public that May didn't want to fight in March? and why did Manny agree to fight in March? IMO, he agreed because he is a champion and this is the fight that he has said he wants and then retire.

not exactly lied about march... yup, i think they were thinking of another opponent since they would want Pac to fight a lesser opponent because it should basically be a promotional fight for the elections. I know Yuri Foreman was a joke but Manny getting an 8th division title should have been news still. As the old saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity. so then you are telling me that him fighting Foreman instead of Mayweather would have been justifiable? Election promo, eh? OK, since we are obviously believing all things that the media are blurting out, then it should be pointed out that Team May have expressed that it is March or bust. Arum made it public but isn't it obvious that it was proposed by Team May before they reached the agreement? I am blaming Arum partly for pushing the March date but Team May jumping into the opportunity is a good, but somehow dirty, tactic. And again, Roach said they wanted to fight in March but probably not against Floyd. Floyd jumped at the opportunity. Floyd jumps at every opportunity now to make himself look good. Dude, you read the post. Floyd wanting some leverage was a clear statement that he and his pops and uncle were. I understand that Team Pac mentioned March 13 but Roach also mentioned that March is too early for Pac to face May because he wanted Manny to rest some more. He's being rushed. March is too early against a tough opponent like Floyd. Maybe against somebody else (Mosley, Margarito, etc. :lol1: ), March would've been fine for Pac.
