Retire while your ahead, because if you stay aound too long in this sport, its gonna bite you in the ass. Thats really all there is to say about this fight. Roy had his time, he played around with the possibility of beating father time. Calzaghe said no way jose. And Roy still faught on and now Green put the nail in Roy's boxing career coffin. It sad, but it happened to Ali and Leonard too, who are similar fighters style wise to Roy. I'll give credit to Danny Green for landing the right punches to score the KO. As far Roy, he'll always be the champ to me. And this loss hasn't changed my opinion of him in any way. Like I told Reed, I dont watch Roy's losses anyway. lol I dont own the calzaghe fight, i wont own this one either. Roy had a great career in his prime. 10-15 years from now, thats what people will remember. Its still pensacola in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yall already knooooow the champ is going to the hall of fame!!!!! lol
that was a nice placed shot...Roy didn't even see it. But he got caught carrying that left hand down to low. Sucks...I still love you Roy! Congrats to Green.
Its not that easy. Look at Floyd Mayweather. There's no way people will let him out without criticism like they did let out Calzaghe. The same people who said Calzaghe proved all he had to prove say Mayweather hasn't been with anyone who's live. It's exactly the opposite time tells us that now.
That said Floyd fights on because he wants to (and probably needs the money). Anyway, true greatness is not measured by a 0, that would probably work if we didn't have any footage and boxing was all about a paper and numbers on it.
right on the money..... its not about the defeat.. but what you defeated.. RJJ have a great run.

this was TIGHT,,,GREEN K. homay.
I Guess fighters care more about the money then their legacys. Roy reminds me so much of Iron Mike on the decline, just fighting for money but nothing else! I hate to see great fighters get beat by bums but i guess they dont really give a shit, the money is what they are interested in when they get older.

unfortunately he will be remembered for his fall from grace also he literally turned into a club fighter over night
he should've never came back down from heavyweight to face Tarver after that he was never the same
that'll happen when your 41 and unwilling to have both hands up at all times
right now he'll be remembered for his fall form grace. because the public remembers the last thing they heard or saw. but in 10-20 years, he'll be remembered for his prime. People dont think of Camacho with Leonard. lol
