hey people.
first of all, no hate in the title, just saw another poster using it, and couldnt help but give it a little laugh... and he seemed to be getting plenty of attention... :sad6:
Just a quick question about the Ward-Kessler fight.
Just for the record, i thought Ward was spectacular that night, amazing speed and movement, and i´m not trying to take anything away from him, he did everything right on that night. Especially from a tactical point of view.
but... and here be the question(s):
How would you americans feel if Ward(or maybe Mosley or Hopkins, since Kessler is by far the biggest star in danish boxing) came to Denmark and was never, ever given a fair shake by officials nor the referee, the victim of excessive holding and of course the 5 "unintentional" headbutts???
Now the headbutts may have unintentional, i think a few of them was(however, it is what happens when you lead with your head as much as ward did/does) but it seems kinda focked up to me that the referee after the fight says he counted 5 headbutts?? i mean, come on, unintentional or not, if you as a referee see more than 2-3 headbutts, shouldn`t Ward at least have been given a warning?? furthermore, i believe there was more than 5, but then again ive only watched the fight twice(as a dane, it really hurts seeing your boy loosing in such fashion)
Again, let me state that i have nothing against americans. Went there last year, visitited New York, LA and San Francisco and i have to say you people surprised me with how open, friendly and warm you are :usa2:
Would love to come there again some day.
looking forward to hear from you. you fat yanks :la:
the rabbit punches were fair because dirrell was ducking his head below the waiste line (which is illegal btw), so the back of his head was the only target.
learn the rules of boxing before you say something, idiot.:owned:
And intentionally slipping over as well to aviod a beating
if the US ever went to war with any of the shit countries in the UK, those fat yankss would destroye you joe calzaghe loving, hairy armpit women having, yellow teeth bastards.....US boxing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UK
but David Haye would knock out any of your dudes! and his teeth shine like glow white muvva sukka lol
i guess you didnt see the froch dirrell fight.. with 12 rounds of INTENTIONAL rabbit punches and body slams:owned:

have you read my earlier post about how i do not feel that these two fights can be compared? if yes, i would like you to give your thoughts, since i would consider it to be blatant stupidity to say Froch was the only one using dirty tactics during that fight..
however, based on your two previous posts in this thread, i guess you are a rather stupid character.. but i aint judging, please, be my guest and prove me wrong...
The butts actually did kessler justice...Ward was turning it up and in the 12th he would have been firing on all pistons going for the KO.

it's sickening how americans can defend wards dirty fighting, maybe next time europeans will do the same thing when a fat yank fights over here.

hahahahaha, countries in the Uk? makes no sense! what a nob!
I would be pissed, but i would already expect a one-sided ref and bias hometown judges. i think i would be more upset at the fact that my fighter wasn't able to overcome the situation. If i was watching Ward get butted, i would expect to see him retaliate. To see him get fouled numerous times, while getting outboxed, i would be pretty sore.
I can understand because i was a huge Cotto fan, and to see Pac destroy him the way he did, it was hard to believe. I think many Kessler fans have a hole in their hearts and they just hate Ward for killing his legend.
That's very true. And yes this loss placed a little hole in my heart for a couple of reasons:
1: I had expected a Kessler win and NEVER a lopsided loss.
2: I could always blame the Calzaghe defeat on Kessler's broken hand there by keeping him 'alive'. That's not possible here. Ward was clearly the better man and Kessler showed that he and his corner hadn't learned a thing from the Calzaghe fight.
3: I hated those butts. They made Kessler's face fall apart and they were so unneccessary since Ward was winning anyway. I can only say that Ward is a dirty fighter otherwise he wouldn't have done it. Just like Golota nut-shotting Bowe while waaaaaayyyy in front.

good post
i agree with you for the most part... especially about the hole in the heart thing : )
cause thats exactly how i felt in the days after the fight.. i was heart broken.
however what i do not like about your post, and this just may be a type error, is that you say you was(were) a huge cotto fan.. hopefully, even though he was demolished you are still a huge fan?? otherwise you need a lesson in loyalty friend...
Im still gonna back Kessler up till the day one of us are no more...

Ward would have beaten Kessler if the fight would have taken place in Denmark, Oakland, Uganda, Mozambique, etc....
as my countryman Batllingnelson already pointed out, that was not the question...
i gave Ward his props, he fought a good fight and the right kind of fight against Kessler. It appeared to me watched the Calzaghe fight closely.
However, some of the tactics employed would not have been tolerated on a neutral ground, with a neutral referee. My question was how you, surmising your american, would feel if kessler, as the champion had been given the advantage of a hometown fight and employed the same kind of tactics ward used on him??
Another thing... just like it appeared to me that Ward(and his people) had been watching the Calzaghe fight religiously, it appeared to me that Kessler(and his people) did not watch the Ward-Miranda fight at all.. huge mistake
Yeah you can say that. I was also thinking that if those dirty and illegal tactics bothered Kessler that much and the referee wouldn't enforce the rules, I'd have liked to have seen him place a couple of Golota style punches south of the border. :lol1:
i absolutely agree friend..
as the fight progressed i was hoping and waiting for Kessler to open up for some of the same. it would only have been fair..
tired of this fat yank, business.
I'm actually quite fit.
do roadwork every day... situps..pushups..weightlifting..
And then hit the gym too
i was kidding... you would know if you read my whole post you would know..
i even praised you yanks for your kindness.. i like american people
however, you can`t deny the fact that alot of you are insanely obese, but that is a whole other discussion...
Most fat yanks would probably have said that the only way to get fair treatment is to fight in the US.
:usa::usa::usa:
That is exactly right bat
we discriminate equally here
we fuk over our own countrymen here
where do in the fuk have you ever heard of a brit getting bent over in the uk
or any other euro-peeing country?
thats cause they go to the way extreme to make sure their fighter wins
like Hatton and JC
Its no better over there across the pond
just look at dirrel-Froch
and that was way more close and competitive than Ward Kessler
why are you cyring over the fight?
What fight were you watching?
I saw Kessler holding all night
unless there is a new way to hold someone when your arms are straight?
The sad thing is that if this was held in Denmark the score cards would have read 118-110 for Kessler
hahaha
Get over it your boy Kessler cant beat a technician like ward
who was his only other loss too???
Oh yeah JC who is awkward and doesnt just stand in front of him. Same results.
you mean like dirrell-froch? intentional rabbit punches and bodyslams + robbery?
sorry mate, but i do not consider it to be same.
In the Froch-Dirrel fight it was give and take on who was dirtier. Sure, Froch used rabbit punches and even went as far as bodyslamming Dirrel, but come on... Dirrel was equally dirty and ugly in his style. He did not use the bodyslam on Carl but, and dont jump on me now as i have not watched the fight since it aired(and i dont intend to) as far as i renember he was instigating the holding from very early on in the fight.. and the running? dont even get me startet.
He gave the me the impression that he wasnt really willing to give it all and take some risks in order to win(kinda like Mikkel in the ward fight...)
i did not think it was a robbery, Froch was the champion! however, it could have gone either way no doubt.
