Three months is not enough time to promote a fight on this scale, let alone 3 months including training time. The venue would probably need three months alone to prepare for the fight, HBO/over seas media outlets would require more than 3 months for promotion, the press tours need to be set up. 24/7 needs to be researched and prepared for... the list is endless. This isn't fight night 4 online gaming its a $80-$100 million dollar event. By the time the contracts are agreed on and signed you'd be cutting it down to 8 - 10 weeks, that 8 - 10 weeks is needed for training camp unless you'd rather see two drained and exhausted fighters for your ppv money?? Roach himself knows that this is a non starter for it to happen in march, he just loves throwing stuff out there, at the end of the day roach is only one of the fighters trainers in an event this big there is many bigger decision makers/influences on when this fight takes place... The fight will be made. When? Where? Percentages? Weight? Thats all a part of negotiations. Be patient. If Pac fights the Jewish Kid and Mayweather fights the Berto/Mosley winner who will have more momentum...definately Floyd. I understand this is not fight night 4. The big boys behind all of these can make it happen though and still have the same magnitude or even more than a september fight. There's enough time if Floyd agree now. If Floyd agrees tomorrow, then they have more than 3 months. even with the limited time, i'm pretty sure the big boys can pull it off.

Mayweather would be at advantage taking the fight in March. It will probably take Pacquiao 8 weeks to heal 12 weeks to fully heal which means he'd only have about 2 months of training. So I'm guessing that if their is a problem it's more to do with money issues. Having the fight in March lowers promotion time. Arum would probably think the same way if it really is a problem I'm sure he'll explain it to Pacquiao.
