...for having fought 3 times for an abc belt in his last 4 fights without having won one of them???
Taylor - Froch (WBC)
Taylor - Abraham
Taylor - Ward (WBA)
Taylor - Kessler (WBC?)
possible feat for the very future (if he continues with the tourney)...
Taylor is a good fighter. He just has the worst luck in the history of boxing. He should take a few confidence gainer fights to get back into fighting shape. I cant help but cheer for the guy, he seems like a good person and would be a good representative of the title because he is willing to fight everyone. Like someone else has said.... He dares to be great unlike other boxers who pick and choose fights that they can win. Jermain went after all the best fighters and just lost to the better prepared fighter.
he had a fair share of good luck, the decisions he got against hopkins and wright. it sure did run out though.
i think he will put up one hell of a fight aginst ward. stylisticly its not a bad fight for him, and im sure his combination of speed and power will give ward some problems. taylor even at this stage is way better than both miranda and kessler.

Though, this was AA plan all along...Abraham could establish himself, outsmarted Taylor as from the boxers you have mentioned...
just saying he has reason to be confident even though he's getting the brakes beat off him. He can build on positives from fights.
it hels to ge into the ring with a non ko fighter. PLus people forget he was up big in froch fight, had early success against abraham, damn near ko'd pavlik, he's had success in fights before being ko'd he's a good ass fighter and I think he will give ward some go

Didn't Rocky Juarez fight like 12 title fights in a row and lose them all? I'm pretty sure that's a fact.
Nope.
It's Wayne McCullough FTW. :banana::banana:
I like him too, but can he recover from these 2 ko's and still be succesfull?

I doubt it. Boxing is a mental thing and Ward's very accurate and could get a TKO. However Froch and Abraham hit quite hard.
When I do small mistakes at work or with my girl, I can think about it a lot and sometimes it can play on my mind, Imagine being a boxer and getting KTFO twice in the last 20 seconds of round 12. He better do a Cotto if he makes it to 12 VS Ward lol.
He may be done, but he has a chance to beat Ward. If he uses all his skills and counters him well.
Fight 11 rds and run like hell in the last one! or do like my boy cotto and run from the 8th on lol
jermaine will always be cool in my books. never reached greatness, but dared to be great.
I feel the same way man, Im still rooting for him in the tourney. Personaly think he shuld retire, but I cant help but root for the guy ..

Interesting observation.
I agree that the dude is a skilled boxer and good. He isn't great but did the most he could with his stamina issues. He's also a really nice guy and I kinda want him to actually do well now.

Wayne McCullough lost 3 alphabet title fights in the span of four fights:
Harrison (WBO)
Juarez (non-title)
Larios (WBC)
Larios (WBC)
He also challenged unsuccesfully for an alphabet title 7 times in a row (non-title fights in between). (Zaragoza, Hamed, Morales, Harrison, Juarez, Larios x2)

surely john ruiz has gotta have already surpassed that just with the WBA haha
seriously thoug good spot, suprised its not happened before though with the amount of pointless titles and mandos being thrown about
