Haha! Time to own up, guys. Who's got a losing record picking against Pac?
Haters, who'll always pick against Pac and Huggers, who'll always pick Pac, aside, I want to ask the posters who were using their boxing logic who picked against Pac most, or all the time, in his last 3 fights (ODLH, Hatton, and Cotto).
Are you going against him again or Pac all the way from now on?
BTW, I'm 1-2. lol and I love the Pacman.
those 2 are pretty tough opponents for Pac.
with Shane, i'd give the slight edge towards Manny. what
impressed me most about Manny with the Cotto bout is his
ability to take hard shots and not bephased. when it comes
down to the nitty-gritty i don't think Shane can match the
same stamina as Manny towards 9-12rnds. aging fighters tend
to gas out faster(no b-hop). i'd probably pick Manny SD over
Shane.
a fight with Floyd is something else though. i love exciting
fighters as much as anyone else but i sincerely appreciate the
skill of a boxing technician that is of Floyd. it may be a bit
biased to side with Floyd from a boxing purist aficionado
standpoint but i just don't think Manny can penetrate through
Floyd's superb defense enough to hurt/knock him down. that's
what it boils down to really. if Manny can hurt and knock Floyd
down because he certainly can't try to out-box him for sure.
and either way i just don't think he can catch him. Floyd by UD.
This is where I think you're wrong. Shane has NEVER faded in a fight ever, he was comprehensively beaten by Forrest and Wright but wasn't faded, he was chasing Cotto towards the end and was beaten the hell out of Margarito who is a cardio machine.
Mosley is B Hop when it comes to stamina, he has traditionally always picked up in the late rounds and lots of his Kos come in the second half of the fight
Fights that hes done better in during the 2nd half (De La Hoya 1&2, Mayorga, Margarito, Cotto, Vargas I)
The question is: Are you gonna pic Pac now? Let's say against PBF or Shane?

First off Pac is not this vicous power puncher.....lololololololol.
2nd youve never seen Pac throw a punch at 140 pounds.....
NO ONE has been able to back up Ricky. ...not even Floyd...even when Hatton got Ko'd what he was doing COMING FOWARD.....aginst a fighter that can fight equally good off the ropes...going back ward..side to side..coming fowrad..inside outside..Floyd can do it all...dont pretend like Pac can do that.
Hatton will back Manny up....There is nothing that Manny can do to make Hatton take a backwards step...
Ask Burner about his bets.

i'm 0-3. even though i predicted a pac win over cotto, i completely ignored my instincts to go with cotto. pac makes it so easy to go against him but then on fight night, he pulls it off somehow. pac's luck is off the charts. hopefully it's still there when he fights floyd.
i lost twice on Pac's fights. First with the Singsurat guy, Pac got KO'ed, then I bet on ODLH, again i lost.
Some of his earlier fights i couldn't bet, no takers.
im a big fan of pac(no nuthugger) but i am 0-3 with his last 3 bouts.
eating a heap of crow back-to-back-to-back is nothing though.
last bout just proved to me that pac is indeed a GREAT fighter. no doubt.

I was sure that DLH is too big for Pacquiao.. 0-1
Then I was sure that DLH was weight drained and Hatton is going to kick his ass.. 0-2
Then I knew that he is the one of the greatest fighters ever and i knew he would beat Cotto.. 1-2 . :owned:

2-1 last 3. I picked De La Hoya because I gave him a great pucnhers chance. Even said Manny will be winning before he gets knocked out. Oscar didn't even show up.
I knew Hatton was gonna get smashed, picked it in 5, ****ing 24/7 had me change it to the 11th. With Cotto was almost spot on with my KO11 pick.
I'm 1-2
I thought Cotto would have too big a punch, and that Mayweather Sr. had changed Hatton. .
I thought the same with the Hatton fight, as well. Until the weird, secretive sparring session footage that they showed on 24/7. I knew Hatton was in trouble.
im 2-1
picked him to beat oscar and hatton
not cotto
Picked Pac against Hatton only. I thought bought ODLH and Cotto were too big. Damn you Pacman!
But I'm going Pacman all the way from now on.
