MY theory on PBF. Agree or Disagree?

Most prefer to watch Pacquiao, I'll admit that. But a large number also prefer to watch Mayweather. That display of boxing is rare to come by. Your gonna get your explosive south paw here and there but rarely do Boxers as complete as Mayweather come into the sport, rarely. Agreed my friend.

No, people are hating on PBF because PBF is self proclaiming too much, when he hasnt a reason to do it. Pac has a more valid reason to self pro claim himself, but restrains himself from doing it. Because Pac knows people will do it regardless of whether Pac says it. PBF on the other hand is less secure within himself so has to let people know how good he wants them to think of him. Kind of like Ali shouting i am the greatest, and people eventually agreed with Ali. PBF is trying to do the same. And some people have fooled for it. But most people are not fooled by PBF and his team. Angry at PBF for thinking he is cleverer than the man on the street.

I think the reason ppl hate on mayweather n are loving pac right now are as follows: when boxing was mainly a White man sport then a great came along Of ethnic origin to the sport (joe louis, Ali) they were really good and got alot of attention and all good now boxing has been dominated by African Americans (Tyson, lewis, rjj, pbf, list goes on etc etc) it's nothing new for a black man to be great at boxing, in comes pacquiao, who is of ethnic origin to the sport n he gets the exposure like louis, Ali etc... In other words ppl are hating on pbf because it's nothing new for an African American to do great in boxing it is new for a filippino/asian I can only compare this to hip hop, great black rappers all round, a great white rapper called Eminem comes along and BAM! It opens a whole new audience to rap.. Agree or Disagree? Why do people have to make it about Race.. this is stupid a ****.. Simple.. Floyd doesnt fight TOP fighters at his own weight class.. My thing is that Floyd has tremendous skills but his attitude and personality are bunk while Pac's is humble and professional. Floyd has challenges from the perceived top guys in his division but makes excuses not to fight them and his money demands are ridiculous. If he were more professional less people would watch him conceivably but more people would like him definitely.

Basically, Boxing is the same as any other sport - when you are at the top, you are there to be knocked back down. Mayweather is the best out there, and has been for some time. He is undefeated and has disposed of pretty much every opponent with relative ease (even though he hasnt always excited in this fights). Because of Mayweather's dominance, people desperately want to see him beaten. As a result, the media and Boxing fans in general are constantly thinking up new opponents who could beat him, Pacquiao and Mosley are the latest 2. We have seen the likes of De La Hoya and Hatton built and lined up to take Mayweather down, both failed. As soon as Mayweather won these fights, the critics were already lining up his next opponent. I just think that this whole Mayweather-Pacquaio divide is simply because of Floyd's dominance, and the public's desire to see "the king dethroned", they want to see the best fighter out there toppled because he has remained undefeated for so long. I dont think the race card needs to be played here, it has nothing to do with that in my opinion. When you are at the top, in any walk of life, you are there to be shot at. it has more to do with the styles, personality, and character. if you switch pac and pbf right now, the african american pac would be considered as the new mini tyson, get decent air times from bet/wwe/talk shows, and backings from respected rappers (considering he would be fluent with english) while the pinoy pbf will be seen as nothing more than a whiny but skilled kid who cant even get his own countrymen to back him up. floyd = boring as **** manny = entertaining as **** it's really simple Depends on what style people prefer. I find Mayweather more entertaining to watch and there are others. All a matter of opinion.

Joe Louis was liked because of style and the fact he was told to be as humble as possible to not piss of white america like Jack Johnson did. Floyd is a loud mouth with a very cautious style. Pac is humble with a very exciting style. Its as simple as that.
