Ill tell why Kessler losing makes Calzaghe look bad

Not only that, Kessler was Calzaghe's best win. And Kessler got dominated by an inexperienced fighter. Eubank and Hopkins were better wins. Kessler is visibly not the same fighter he was a couple if years ago. It showed when he looked crap against a D-level fighter just before he fought Ward. Saying that though Ward would have also beaten the Kessler that fought Calzaghe.

I don't think it makes calzhaghie bad at all, Kessler is still a very good fighter and im sure he will show that in the rest of the tournament.People watched that fight last night and assume kessler isn't that good but ward was a very tricky fighter and hard to look good against but props to him for fighting a great gameplan and not allowing kessler to get into the fight.

The people who are saying it does'nt make a difference are a bunch of cunts. You know for a fact!!! that if he had done something special in this tourney that it would of been used to nuthugg Joe some more. fixed it for you....i think?

If Kessler wins Calzaghe fans are just gonna say that Joe beat him so therefore he's better than everyone on Kesslers resume but if Kessler loses Calzaghe fans just say he wasn't the same fighter.

Yeh obviously it would of made Joe look a bit better but i would'nt go as far D to say that it makes Joe look bad! lol I for one am glad he lost anyway.. All that talk of him having the tourney locked down etc etc

Dont really make Joe look bad. He was the first to beat kessler when he was unbeaten. Kessler was the man when Joe beat him, just about. Kessler was never the man, he was just built up by guys like you because he pushed Calzaghe. Everyone could see he came in straight, no head movement and his arsenal consisted of a jab and a 1 2. I expected him to get outboxed but i was not sure who to pick because Ward has been hurt by bums before.

You cant have it both ways. They tried to use the Pavlik loss to Hopkins as a indicator of how credible Calzaghe's win was over Hopkins. Kessler losing so badly hurts Calzaghe, no question about it, if he had won it would of enhanced Joe's rep. he was undefeated when calzaghe beat him

Kessler can still go on to win the tournament. Wouldn't favor him to for the moment, but this thing is just getting started.
