pac / cotto prove that a good match can get a mainstream media attention, like espn... this helps boxing a lot....
a boring fight will never be getting too much attention in media even if its a big fight. or if it does, casual fans will be getting turned off by that one.
to quote money mayweather "geing a win while getting beat up is not cool"

Frankly I could give less of a f*ck about whether "casuals" - people who by definition aren't boxing fans - find a fight appealing if it means diluting and neglecting one of the fundamental aspects of boxing. If they want to watch idiots beat the shite out of each other with no regard for technique and defense then they should stick to watching backyard brawls on YouTube.
beckham is not a fan of boxing, only fighting. according to Beckham, anyone with any skill should be looked down upon. only bar room brawls are worthy. If your a boxer who can apply a gamplan, and avoid getting hit, then you're not only boring, but illegal.
such crap...or excuse me, rubbish.

mayweather-marquez, which was AFTER mayweather-oscar still got some viewers, you'd think people would learn after already watching some mayweather fights? or have we got it all wrong? maybe they are'nt as ignorant as some people in this forum
Pissed about the way the fight was handled. I'm not a huge fan of Kessler at all, I had a friendly bet w/ mangler jr of 25k on the fight.
Cant believe you just said that.
:nonono:
It really is. That takes the opponents off their game plan. I'd foul too.

Not defense. Excessive holding, running and blatant fouling on the inside.
yet you continuelly mentioned mayweather in your example for the american style that is ruining boxing
tell me the truth, your actually a sensible poster right? just a little pissed about what happened to kessler right?
