Give good reasons why you thought any of them would beat Pac!
ODLH - Well I know I am not the only one that thought ODLH would beat him, but I figured he would KO Manny. This was mostly due to DLH's size, but the other part of me thought that he could def outbox Manny any day. Even though we all know he wasn't himself that day I was still Wrong!
Hatton - Didn't really know to much about Hatton except for that he got handled by May, and was a good brawler/body puncher. I figured Manny would loose due to Hatton's size. Wrong again!
Cotto - I really thought Cotto had this fight, no not just because I am rican and I support my country's fighters, but because I thought that his jab and power would be too much for Manny to handle. After all the thread wars, and going back and forth with Samurai...I really did believe that Cotto could time his jab (sort of like in the 1st round) to stop Pac or beat him in a UD. Wrong x3!
Before yall come in here and start saying "that is why you shouldn't go against Manny"...I know some of you had your doubts when he was put against these opponents. So for those of you that can keep it real WHY did you have any of the above 3 fighters beating Manny, and what you believe was the reason why the fighter you chose lost!?
Is it simply because DLH was weight drained, Hatton just fought stupid, and Cotto wasn't himself!? OR are Roach & Manny that great of a team that no boxer has a chance? And if you believe that what do you expect their gameplan to be agianst May!?
I know a lot of questions!!! LOL :sad6:
Hmmm...your name says it all! I mean I even had Boricua fighters loosing a fight at some point. I saw Cotto loosing to May if they ever fought. Are you from P.I?
Naw I actually live in California Bay Area lol
Naw I had Pacquiao winning in all of em :)

DLH-I tough Oscar would murder him within 6 rds.
Hatton-I knew Manny would beat him, but never by KO.
Cotto-I was rooting for Cotto for obvious reasons but I warned my friend to not take bets because Manny would win 4 sure, I watched Hatton/Pac like 10 times and Cotto/Clottey and I knew Manny would win.
PS. My friend lost $3,000 on that fight, I told him.
^^^LOL!!! $3,000!!! GTFOH!!!! Wow...luckily I saw this fight too close to call also and just bet $125.

Manny does the unthinkable. I think majority of the people didn't expect Manny to win against Oscar since Oscar is the bigger fighter and the heavy puncher.
Hatton's fight I was picking on Manny but I still got doubts of him if he can take a punch from Hatton
Cotto's fight I totally pick Manny of winning without a single doubt.
Upcoming Floyd fight if it happens I'm picking still on Manny but I'm not 100% sure if Manny wins. But I will support Manny no matter what. This will be a 60-40 fight in favor of Manny in "my" opinion.
That is the thing...it seems that we keep on doubting Manny's abilities. I mean only a few peepz from P.I were 100% sure he would beat Cotto badly. The rest of the boxing community keeps on doubting him. I always thought that May could beat anyone out there right now, but I really don't want to doubt Manny again.
The Cotto fight did it for me. It completely changed my whole view on Manny and I felt bad for not giving him the credit from the beginning. I don't think I could doubt Manny's ability ever again. What he has done so far has proved that he's a hero
That's exactly how I feel about it. He's proved that he is a ATG and I hate that i picked against him so many times.
I thought Oscar had that fight easy just because he was so much bigger than Pac and should have been able to keep him off of him. I though Pac would win against Hatton but that was a tough fight to decide but was shocked at how that one played out. Then I picked Cotto and I'm not even a fan of his. I was more of a Pac man fan but didn't think that he could stand up to Cotto's body punches from a true welter weight. And if he fights Mayweather I don't know who to pick for that one. Pac's proved how good he is, but I can see Mayweather running and pot shotting to a decision. Pac didn't look good trying to chase a hurt Cotto around the ring, and doubt he would against Mayweather. But who knows maybe he will surprise me again.
^^^That is exactly how I felt with Cotto, but I also thought that Cotto could outbox him. I mean for 1 round it was playing out how I thought it was, and then it went down hill...waaaayyyy down hill!!! :dead1:
Well Cotto-Pac I actually thought Pac would win but in my head there was "Cotto will win surely, look at the size" but I was thinking Pac would win. This wasn't through looking through fights etc just a thought I had.

I had all 3 of them beating him lol.. The fact that he proved me wrong everytime won my heart over and I became a fan
I picked Oscar because I thought Manny would be too feather fisted as a WW and would not be able to take Oscar's shots. Is till didn't give him credit after the win because I felt he just got lucky and Oscar was too old.
I had Hatton winning because I thought that Manny would only get lucky once, and he already had his moment of shine and Hatton would put an end to it since he was hungry after coming off the Mayeather loss.
I completely misjudged Pac because I felt that Hatton was going to be the stronger man and harder puncher.
After he knocked Hatton out I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a setup fight for sure so they can match Manny with mayweather. I still didn't give him thye credit he deserved.
Then in the Cotto fight I kind of had doubts. I knew Cotto was the biger and stronger man and I picked him to win, but I still felt that Manny could do the imaginable and pull it off. I never imagine he was going to dominate Cotto like that though. Even if he was going to win it would be a more competitive fight and probably end up in a UD.

I can understand where you are coming from in the above. I never had anything against Manny it is just that I really thought that his opponents would beat him due to size and sometimes due to power. That is where I was wrong...you can't doubt this guys power cause when you do you get dropped.
I thought Cotto would win but was wrong hehehe damn Cotto what happened ?
I was suprised to see Manny tear through him major props to Pacman. I am not going to bother with the details why i thought Cotto would pull it off. Part of me thinks Pac regrets fighting Cotto at 145 , after the fight i think he would have done the same to Cotto at 147.
i thought dlh was gonna beat him, but once i saw his skinny ass in there, i knew the fight was probably fixed or dlh killed himself trying to make it seem competitive and it was gonna backfire on his ass.....so either way, he was getting raped in there.....
i thought hatton had some tools to troube pacquiao, but was gonna fight like an idiot and get KO'ed with that china chin in the air......and surely pacquiao ****ed him, though it was even worse than i figured........still i did pick pacquiao.....
i thought cotto was gonna be smart enough to not risk giving pac a chance and just try to outbox him with his superb timing and jab........i was concerned after seeing how small cotto looked that night, but i was confident miguel was gonna fight smart in there after the 1st....then he started fighting like a moron, giving pacquiao chances to land by trading, but i figured miguel would still be competitive in there, maybe even get the better of it with his power.....even when he got dropped, i was still thinking miguel was gonna win since he won the 3rd round except for the kd......but once he got caught with that left in the fourth, i knew it was over.........miguel got caught reaching like an idiot(just like jmm in the 3rd round of the second fight........for thinking pac was gonna steal the round from them) and i didnt have confidence in his brains anymore.......pacs physyical tools are incredible....his skill is still overrated though.....but it doesnt matter against 99% of fighters anyway, so its not that big a deal.....

I thought Oscar would walk down and KO Manny in 5. Laughed hard that winter night.
I thought Pacquiao woud beat Hatton down, and KO him in the late rounds.
I thought Cotto would get flat out beat on after a few competitive rounds, and stopped. This was true.
I thought De La Hoya was simply gonna be too big for Pacquiao, To me all De la Hoya needed was one good left hook and it was over. Turned out he was past it and weight drained. :) Pacquiao dished him out a beating.
I felt Pacquiao was too quick for Hatton and he would break Hatton down in the late rounds. Pacquiao surprised me with his power in that one. Hatton got layed out.
I knew Pacquiao had a good chance against Cotto based on his speed and footwork but i was unsure about his punch resistance at 147 especially against a good puncher like Cotto. I favored Cotto to win based on being naturally bigger and having very good power.
Pacquiao really impressed me with his punch resistance at 147.
